I will be switching my blog to the new Blogger next week... I have waited until it seemed like maybe they worked out the bugs. Hopefully it isn't a pain. But it says it is more reliable, which sounds good to me.

Man. The boys are at Georgia's again today. The major plus of that is - I basically did not get up yesterday. And I had very few contractions... the minus is I miss my boys so much. It's just a season... 8 weeks and we will be together all the time again... although I will be Shamu.

The plan today... work on my quilt squares... watch my American Idol tape later... lay very still. Ah, and some Rush Limbaugh.
Das ischt der plan.

Wake up!
Get out of bed!
Drag a comb across your head.
Make your way downstairs & drink
a cup.
Look up & notice you're not late!

Jessica,
Yvonne here :0)

I know you know all of this because you've done it before, but I just want to encourage and remind you that this short (though seemingly never-ending) season will be well worth it!!

I was on bedrest in the hospital for 8 weeks before I delivered Carter. It was sooo hard at the time, but I barely remember it now and I'm so grateful for the product that we received because of it. Carter will be 3 in a couple of weeks and he is an (almost) constant source of joy to me.:0) I thank God continually for that "hospital prison" and what it allowed us to have!

Again, I know I'm preachin to the choir, but I just wanted to encourage you a little!

As for the Shamu part - well, yes, but it goes away. :0)

Enjoy your rest even though you miss the boys!!

Bobey is crashed out on the couch. He looks like a little angel. Richy is watching Elmo. I asked Richy yesterday what is the symbol for all gone, the way I asked it was kind of complicated, but he got it and told me right then. I was trying to tell Bobey that his cookie was all gone, but he wasnt going for it, he said, no its not here is some more smashed into the floor for me.

I wish there was something I could do for poor Steph.

Yeah...as much as my boys drive me crazy sometimes...I am usually lost without them. Maybe not at first, but it doesn't take long. It feels like 3/5 of me is missing. And I keep looking around for them. Or if I'm eating, I try to cut up food or feed someone.

But a few days of bedrest sounds pretty awesome right now. Don't think I could sit still longer than that. You're awesome, Jess!

Enjoy the rest...soon you will be um, rest-less. =)

Me too! =(

Have ya'll seen this? VERY cool concept. But my average car payments are NOT $475/month. But even still -- it's very exciting. It's like..flipping cars. Kinda. I'd like to try it. We would like a minivan and have been looking for awhile (it gets kinda crowded in my small SUV). This would provide another option, if my truck can hold out that long. =)

Hey, how do you make a direct link to things?

If I had a job, I would totally start saving $500 bucks a month...living cheap, like I am now. Except that I'll be rollin in a fancy used car in 10 months!

Georgia is back! Here are some puns for you:

I couldn't stand to be without my legs.

For every 45 I collected, I would write down the song and the artist so I could keep records.

A sign at a cemetery reads, 'No Trespassing, Violators Will Face Grave Charges'.

I call my fax machine 'Bob Marley' because it keeps jammin.

The plumber had to quit his job because it was too much of a drain.

I got a great bargain the other day when I bought a forklift for half-price. It's amazing what you can pick up these days.

Josh said...

Wow, Georgia, you must have Toby in some long intersession.... he keeps posting his prayers.

I only get to go to the bathroom and the doctor....

Anonymous said...

And, that's the only two places a woman should be allowed to go.

jess said...

What about the kitchen??

Anonymous said...

hilarious!

Anonymous said...

The kitchen is permissible only if said woman is a good cook.

If a bad cook, the bathroom and doctor are plenty of social activity.

Anonymous said...

Silence is golden but duct tape is silver.

Josh said...

Anon- the kitchen is OK, she can at least warm up your soup for you!

Systems are down at work. I'm leaving at 2:00 today (in 45 mins), so we'll see if I get to do anymore work.

Josh said...

Jess- so, what's with "Bobey"?

Baby born a whopper in Mexico

CANCUN, Mexico (AP) -- He is called "Super Tonio," and at a whopping birth weight of 14.5 pounds, the little fellow is causing a sensation in the Mexican resort of Cancun.

Cancun residents have crowded the nursery ward's window to see Antonio Vasconcelos, who was born early Monday by Caesarean section. The baby drinks 5 ounces of milk every three hours and measures 22 inches in length.

"We haven't found any abnormality in the child; there are some signs of high blood sugar, and a slight blood infection, but that is being controlled so that the child can get on with his normal life in a few more days," Narciso Perez Bravo, the hospital's director, said Wednesday.

In Brazil, a baby born in January 2005 in the city of Salvador weighed 16 pounds, 11 ounces at birth. According to Guinness World Records, the heaviest baby born to a healthy mother was a boy weighing 22 pounds, 8 ounces, born in Aversa, Italy, in September 1955.

Antonio's mother, Teresa Alejandra Cruz, 23, and father, Luis Vasconcelos, 38, said they were proud of the boy, and noted that Cruz had given birth to a baby girl seven years ago who weighed 11.46 pounds.

An Irish priest is driving down to New York and gets stopped for speeding in Connecticut. The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest's breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car.

He says, "Sir, have you been drinking?"

"Just water," says the priest.

The trooper says, "Then why do I smell wine?"

The priest looks at the bottle and says, "Good Lord! He's done it again!"
