This morning I woke up thinking about biscuits and gravy. I had to
finish a novel before I could get out of bed, but now that's done.
I toyed with the idea of making it from scratch. Nah.
Now the choice is IHOP or Dennys?
And when will my little sleepyhead wake up and stumble in here so we
can go?
Richy (my husband) was in San Antonio last night. He called around
11:30. I always answer the phone when it's that late because I need to
know if a meteor fell on the Woodlands and someone is letting me know.
But, it was Richy.
Really good ministry last night. The church was right with them from
the get-go, and they had a beautiful worship time.
The team had to get on the road at some unearthly hour this morning to
make it to El Paso by this afternoon and set up to play tonight!
They'll be there for 3 days, doing our conference and then he should be
home Saturday night.
Today, my packed schedule includes food, Rush Limbaugh and the library.
Pretty much heaven on earth, folks.

We were in a wreck yesterday. This was Heather's second time to be on 1960. Heather was practicing her driving and a lady sped out of wal-mart into 1960 and hit us. Another car hit that lady and threw her to the passenger side, she went to the hospital. The guy in other car went too. I think his nose was broken. Of course since the lady was on the gurney I didnt think of asking her for her insurance information. The wrecker driver talked me into letting him tow it to the body shop (just in case). He said her insurance would pay for it and a rental car for us. So I, unaware of the mess I was getting into went for it. When I got to the body shop they said they wouldnt even look at it without a claim number ( which you cant get without a person's name) So I said what the heck, It has one little dent on it which was probably already there,so I said just let me take my car home. He said I would have to pay 355.00 in towing charges. Then the rental people wanted the money up front for the car rental. I still have no name and cannot get a claim number. I guess we can pay the rent someday. I hope it will be this month. Mike's boss wont like that much. Anyway my car is at the body shop forever... Maybe Heather will want to drive again before she is too old...
On another note I dont think its fair to mention biscuits and gravy to someone on a low carb diet. I cant get these biscuits out of my head. I'm seeing a cast iron skillet, homemade with lots of butter dripping off, a nice brownish white gravy with pepper speckles, a little jelly on the side, maybe some scrambled eggs with cheese,
a little fried ham... some hot chocolate... Some hash browns.. not the kind that are shredded, but real big fat pappas... on and on and on...
anonymous: meet me at Denny's. Dr Atkins is dead, and Leah never has to find out.
So now I know when to call you and when you'll actually pick up... between midnight and 6 am. I've got it down now.
Mmmmm. B & G sounds good to me too. Have fun at Denny's.
Love,
Jenn
