Well, last night was the Randy Travis concert. Don't get me wrong.
There was some good singing and music. But when you grow up a Yablonski
and then marry a Rocker you have a little different idea of "concert".
But it was nice. We sat down and listened to the songs. And maybe
because I am a sinner, my favorite one was the country one he did....
Forever and Ever...
At one point I thought, this guy and Mick Jagger are probably the same
age. But this music is appropriate for a "seasoned" citizen to be
singing. No leather pants, no sticking out his tongue, etc. Just Shall
We Gather at the River and so forth.
Arberto had a good night. His friend from work came and agreed that
Richy's hair was thinner. And then when R & R played mini golf, Rob won
because of a stellar hole-in-one. Stephanie had managed to leave Izzy
with VG, so we talked about anything and everything, as usual.
Fun was had by all, but I walked too much and had contractions and am
now grounded from the barbecue at Sanctuary. Nuts.
You gotta know when to fold 'em.

Well sweety, it is like you always say.....when you have contractions you just won't do whatever it was that caused them, again.
I am glad that you are feeling better this morning and got to enjoy a little BBQ.
R2 and G and MnM and Izzy and VG had fun too. Alot of work but non the less, fun!
Chocolate and way too much Chocolate, and it was great to have 5 of the kids all together.
I would not have been able to handle any more. Breast fed babies that haven't been ever introduced to the bottle AT ALL, are very hard to please.

Well, I think I've finally shaken that rat... I sent him in to Dairy Queen for a couple Blizzards... and then my homing signal belt finally started working. I have located Dr Mikey and have him "incapacitated".
Next stop, Bat-Mart for more batteries for my radar box.

I crave ice now. I have been eating it for about 2 years. I dont think it is a real good thing. I love it, but I think it is a bad sign to crave ice.

Michael bought me a snow cone maker for Christmas. That is a great consistency, but it takes too long fo me.
I've been putting cubes in the blender... not acceptable.
Today we went to Sonic and I ate ice all the way home...
I just put them in some water and drink it and then eat the ice as it melts, yummm.
The blender will break if it is plastic. It cant take ice

I just bought one and I am using it, but I am still confused about cleaning it.
We made a lemonade slushee... poured it in the ice tray and then in the blender... it worked great
I have a cast iron skillet. I just usually wash it with water... not soap always.
That sounds delicious, I cant have sugar though, so it would have to be just ice for me.
( I just had one of Lacy's cupcakes.)

But I keep having to add more oil every time I use it cause everything is sticking to it.
Today there were little black specks in the eggs that I didnt put there.
have you seasoned it? you oil it all up and cook it in the oven for 30+ minutes... it gets all black and works better

Yeah, I never liked it when Mama cooked soul food. I would go to Jack in the Box when I was a kid when she would do that. They would just bring me cheese, avocadoes and yogurt and then they would cook mustard greens and fried chicken, and stuff.
