yesterdays questions.... wait, what? going to read

the house is owned by a realty company... not a landlord, per se
we want to build a wood fence... 8 feet tall on one part. and the rest 6 feet tall

Josh said...

Yeah! Answer us on the fence!

TEETH, TEETH, TEETH!

Josh said...

you are probably talking upwards of $1,000 or more, I thinkist.

jess said...

I'm going to call the realtor and see if there are any options

Adding a fence is a major renovation and, like someone said yesterday, it will add MAJOR value to the home. A lessor should not be paying out of pocket for the owner’s major investment improvement. You get zilch return on it!

hey, did y'all look at my new videos??

Josh said...

Something is up with my Flash plug-in, so I’ll have to wait till I’m off work also, or maybe lunch. I’m outta here in a half hour anyway, to do two employee retirement presentations today.

public service announcement to all texans

---the texan word for more than one "you" is a contraction of the two words "you" and "all."
---therefore, the apostrophe (') should always go after the "y" and before the "all", thus taking the place of "ou" in "you"
---thus, the correct spelling is "y'all"
---the incorrect spelling is ya'll
---if this is you, don't feel bad; it's a very common mistake; i'm happy to be of service if i may, and if you don't care, please disregard

Clam - I have a question... and I beg to diffah with your Grammatical Correction... :-)

If Texans are speaking, would they not be saying
the phrase "Ya all.." which, then, could be divided and shortened to "ya'll" ???

we say "ya" a lot instead of you, do we not???

ok, just let me know how that one goes over...

Mama PC said...

or, maybe we Texins say "yu" for "you"... "yuu"

I hear yuu...

ok - gotta cooking something...hmmmm... what shall the ground round turn into tonight???

on the fence topic. no, jess, don't pay for the supplies... unless they'll let you take that amount off of your rent/lease payments...
