Top o the Mundee to ya...
Thinking a little last night about "worst case scenario". What a load of bunk.
People never say the real worst case scenario.
"Worst case, you have to go next door and borrow some flour..." or something. I just can't say it. I know the worst case scenario is a wolf breaks down the back door and eats the family, then knocks something over and burns the house down. Now that's a worse case.
I mean, there is some seriously bad stuff that could happen... meteors, galactic realignments... nuclear explosions. Not to mention your basic natural disasters... tornadoes and such. Or getting burnt up by the sun. Or what if you are getting gas in your car, and you are talking on your cell phone because that is a MYTH, and it's not a myth and you blow up the whole gas station while you're on hold with the dentist? What if you're walking, and your kidneys explode? Tell me that.
So look on the bright side, folks. It could definitely get worse.

that was a weird blog...
sfirt
This is just the encouragement I need for a Monday morning.
Thank you, thank you very much.
What could be worse is, you’re on vacation in another country and you look up and see a nuke being dropped. In a flash, you realize you didn’t mail your mortgage payment before you left for vacation. Now, a nuke is about to hit you, AND your house will be foreclosed on. Talk about insult to injury!
wow, i started to write you a worse case scenario, but it turns out i'm way too good at it, and i didn't want to scare anyone, so...
everyone have a great monday, ok?
Wow, Josh, that would be terrible to lose the house right before apocalypse.
My house is really messy. Like someone had a broke foot and never cleaned it in 4 weeks. Yuchh. No one is here. I don't blame them. I am leaving too.
Worst case scenarios for the messy house.
You mistake the cat for an eggplant.
You CAN find the remote, but not the television
Not even robbers will come in.
You accidentally park the car in the bedroom and don't notice
No one can find their underwear.
Why would mistaking a cat for an eggplant be worse case?
Cats probably taste better, and it would ride the world of one more cat!
What inspired it? Just late night musings... like thinking, worse case scenario is, the boys room willl get really cold and they will have cold feet in the morning. WELL, no. It would be worse if an essential support beam wasn't made right, and the floor broke and they just crashed right through to the first floor. Now THAT's worse than cold feet.
I was just thinking.
ewwww the smell of old turkey carcass...
Since Lacy started working, no one seems to have taken up the slack.

i'm having a great supper tonight... ruffles potato chips and Deans French Onion Dip
Papa JC and his son are eating down on 1960 at a barbeque place, then going to Guitar Center.
My heart rejoices that they are getting to spend time together... lately J has been avoiding his parents.... so, this is good...
Y'all's worst case scenarios...
I guess it helps to put things in perspective some times...
I was thinking last night about the time my little family of four went to a Phil Driscoll concert at our church in Hobbs. We got home around 11 p.m. and I realized that the front door was open and all the lights in the house were on... John immediately pushed us 3 back...and inched into the house... the back door was open, with the curtains blowing in the wind, the heater was on full blast...and the radio was on full blast as well...
We found where intruders had broken into our high bedroom window, stepped up onto the desk, (we saw the muddy boot prints), accidently stepping on the "ON" button of the radio... then ran through the house...probably scared outta their wits because of the loud music playing... they ran through the bedroom, and into the living room, then out the back patio door, leaving it wide open...
We didn't notice anything missing... and the humilating part was that I was an pregnant mom of two toddlers and the laundry was piled up on the couch, and cereal bowls on the coffee table...not to mention toys strewn about...and shoes, etc... We had to call the police! to report the break in! I had to choose to let John call... I didn't want the police to see that house! But, John insisted.
Anyway, the next month before our home group, he finally noticed that something HAD BEEN stolen. John's guitar - a very nice one - had been stolen... it was a terrible realization.
But, then, we had to look at it differently. John thinks that when we drove up, the robbers had just broken in and we scared them off! What if they hadn't seen us, and then we surprised them and violence happened? What if they tried to break in WHILE we were in the house...and hurt us? We were safe and protected. We don't know why the guitar was allowed to be stolen. But we choose to trust in God.
(John also had a guitar stolen while he was in college)
btw - jess - kidney's cannot explode. they are little miraculously formed organs (not fluid bags)that are such wonderful works of art and function. the Designer had to be a genious, Whomever created the kidney...
seriously! you ought to study the kidney one day. they are fascinating!!! look em up, won't cha!
After studying the kidney, there is no way to say there is no God. They couldn't have just "happened"...
Here's some irony for you...
Lindsey, when a little girl, had a foot problem... crooked toes and trouble having shoes to fit her feet. She also had episodes of hair-cutting, being very creative at it...
Now, she ends up working for a Podiatrist and cuts hair on the side...for money!
well , maybe not "irony"... just significant, i suppose...
and josh, she also cuts hair on other parts of the head, not just the side...
i knew you'd comment about it... so, i beat you to it..
georgia...
with all of us ADULTS at this house, i'm finally accepting the fact that...
no one wants to do any work around here...
plus, our kids are paying room and board... so it's difficult to say "CLEAN UP THIS HOUSE"
thankfully, hannah bee takes some responsibility and works even when not asked...
john is a worker bee as well...
and i'm a good director! ha!
no, i try to do my part...
we need to find a smaller house, with larger storage capacity...
or, we need to rent out these bedrooms to responsible-type folk...
no, i know, we need a maid and a housekeeper
that's it
ok
i've said enough for the day...
love you all and good night
ltas
slat? @ 8 pm? are you crazy?!
I always enjoy your stories Mama PC...they are very well told...
I don't have that gift, my stories end up very lame for the most part.
ask Chris H and Jakit and Rachel about them...they are very bad

Day of Silence and Solidarity
silent seige-ing across the nation and world
red life tape and wristbands
DO IT!
Wow....
Jessica....you are such a positive person.....you must have had a bad morning.
If I had some red tape and could do anything I wanted to do....I would find a MARCH or PROTEST and get on board....
Who made this that day and what is the story of this day being set aside?
FIRST!
ntex
Where is everybody?
It is like walking into a dark tunnel and hearing your footsteps echo.
So yesterday was supposed to be silent
What happened to today?
It was someones birthday today.
No longer
No one in here.
I am getting that feeling like walking in the same tunnel I mentioned before and beginning to realize that the amusement cars are coming up quickly behind me and I have no place to run.
Where is the sasqwatch when you need her?
