Well, after sleeping on it... I don't know.
Those ultrasounds actually are funny.. one looks like a girl, one looks like a boy.
It really is too early to tell, though.
But you know what? When we found out Toby was a boy, for a split second I was sad. This girl expectation had built up, and I was a little disappointed. (By the time we walked to the car, I was happy) But this time, when we saw what appeared to be a "male anatomy"... I was just excited... either way, this is really fun to me.
Toby is crawling like a madman these days. Just figuratively, of course. I have never seen a madman crawl. Oh, well, maybe at Christ the King during the renewal 1994-ish... saw quite a bit those days. But I digress. He is crawling really fast and ocassionally bottoms out and face-plants. He is also pulling up and cruising on the furniture... and falling over A LOT. I think he needs a helmet. Or maybe a Valium. Or maybe that's me.
I don't know if any Reicherts read this blog... but if so, HAPPY birthday to Larry.
oh, and I am changing my backup blog in case of MORE blogger failures to Jessica's Auxilary
Bookmark it when you get there, folks. Google has bought Blogger and I won't be surprised if there is a MONSTER crash in the offing.

Cool, Tobias is getting around good.
Keith will be six months old on Saturday. He just started sitting up well last weekend, he is liking it. He’ll get his first rice cereal and sippy cup Saturday.
I have no knowledge of valium.
6 months old! That's when Toby started getting really fun!
MORE PIX
hmm...babies are fun...
I never used to like kids...now they're great!
I think it’s the softening of the heart with salvation. I don’t remember being too fond of kids before I came to the Lord, but after I just loved kids. It’s like I realized how neat they are, and full of life and adventure. Also, just having God’s heart is a lot of it. His heart is HUGE for children.
Jess- What is the meaning of “MORE PIX?”
Take more pix?
Send more pix?
Post more pix?
You took more pix of Toby after six months?
No comprenda your English
my Isaac started actually crawling in MY living room last Thursday when they came to visit and he turned 6months the next day.
amazing!
today...is a day of being torn.
to go to college...or not to go to college(at least not right now)
I could go, and move with my parents, way up in Mexia and go to community college.
Or i could wait until next fall and go to a number of different schools. But I want to go for music...but then again, what is the application of music when I get out? I dunno...
I really don't know
see...I dont' want to business...It's boring...WAY boring
economics and money and all that stuff...I just don't care!
music, technology, history, math, physics
those are the things I care about...brainiac stuff
Josh
It means POST more pix of keith
Tron,
I think you'd make a good teacher. But, then again, I've never seen you teach anyone anything... so, who am I to talk?
Are you motivated to teach?
Do a History major with a music minor...
What does one do with a music major? Mostly it is used for teaching or directing a music program.
Did you make your decision today about where you're going? Call if you wish to speak about it to any one...
Hugs
so, jesh, with tobe crawling like the proverbial madman, how do you manage the stairs?
do you all mainly stay downstairs or up? where are all the bedrooms?
just nosey. haven't seen your new house, but heard it was two story...
Papa John's niece and her husband will be coming down for Lisa Lewis' funeral..
Does anyone know when the service is and where?
MamaPC-
Joe Simpson?
yes, Joe Simpson...and his little wife Brittany (John's sister's daughter)
I've been thinking about buying a PC. I hear Windows Vista is going to be really cool.
sick...pc's are nasty...
while vista may be cool...it's gonna be riddled with bugs...and it only runs on a 64 bit platform. Eh...it's not that great, I used to use vista as a selling tool when I worked at best buy. then a guy who was a mac guru came in and totally stumped all our entire department with questions about vista, so we looked them up...I think mac will come out with something better if you'll wait. And pcs get viruses...heck, they COME with viruses! We used to virus checks on NEW OUT OF BOX, NEVER BEEN ON INTERNET pcs when we'd do our displays...and they had viruses AND spyware...I'm not big on them...at least not anymore
I know PCs have lots of viruses, I've just been really disapointed with our Macs lately. I think it may be worth trying a PC.
Another confession is that I met a big dog that I liked last week. We were visiting one of the new people from Rad Rev. It was a big German Shepard. I usually HATE big dogs, but I think I might start liking them. Anyway... good night...
ah, my imposteur is back
if you ever want to know if I am being impostered... look at the profile... I have over 1300 views . the fake me has a small number.
? so the real you likes macs? I've been somewhat dissapointed with the lack of a match for vista as far as using the full capabilities of a 64 bit processor such as the dual core intels and the dual core G5s. The dual core dual processor G5s are just plain smokin! But this being said, the Intel Core Duo for Macs are like turbocharging a lawn mower engine. They're fairly wimpy compared to the Pentium Ds or the PC version of the Intel Core Duo's. Granted that Windows requires alot more to run than does OS X, it's still heavily outweighed. Only in the iMacs and in the PowerMacs do you really see the intense gain of Macdom...which honestly...is where you're supposed to see it...as far as computing power goes anyway
hmmm...I thought that was weird!
I didn't think you visited rad rev people...
and Richy would not approve of your flirting with PCs
well, MPC,
what you just said is exactly what i wanted to do. Be a teacher and have a minor in music. but to be a teacher, you first major in education and minor in what you're going to teach. so I'd have to do a double minor...which I don't mind. I want to learn theory, and piano SOOO badly...music, just intrigues me! To do arrangements and whatnots...and jazz...REAL jazz..and play beautiful piano stuffs...play from my heart, thats what I want to do..
Tron-
Minor in music and teach IT if you want to teach something...
I have a degree in Biology...three weeks after I graduated from college I joined a stage production, toured the world (even Cuba and China) telling people about Jesus, met Leah, haven't thought about biology since...except the everyday "wow, God is so cool to make this stuff" biology; and I do have two kids, but well, nevermind.
Anyway, I almost have a minor in Chemistry and in Music...played jazz in college (it was a sink or swim kind of thing!).
The point? The college experience and overall academia was far greater the the actual degree I walked with. (ha, I had college english but I can still end a sentence with an infinitive). Now I work in the film industry because it enables me to do what I really want: play music for my Abba.
So...college is either for you or it's not. But in my life, the experience outweighed the education. You just have to decide if you can get that experience (and the knowledge YOU need) apart from attending a university...good luck.
Now, goodnight. I have to crash because I have to get up EARLY and work a film shoot because that provides for my family AND an opportunity fot me to go on a 12-day tour with RADIANT at the end of the month!!!!!
Four years of college - that is what you need... the years go very very quickly, once you get into them... just have to form a plan and then check off the items conquered as you conquer them... and work out the details as you go...believing that God will provide and direct as you go...
Sitting on Square One won't get you anywhere...
Must throw the dice and start the path called LIFE...
Even you if find that the first roll or steps weren't "perfect" , at least you've progressed toward the finish line...
I know that some folks think this is not wisdom, but...
There is a scripture that confirms that as you STEP OUT, that the Lord will direct your path...
Let me go look for that verse...
well, i've thought about that N8...
that is a completely different degree...Music Education...it's a 5 year degree...I'm seriously thinking about doing music...
anyone ever heard of Greenville college? where a little band called Jars of Clay went to school
Prov 16:9
9 A man's heart plans his way ,
But the LORD directs his steps.
NKJV
if I go, I'm not going small scale. I want to do it for real. I want to GO somewhere to college, kinda get out on my own, hopefully a christian school...but it's not neccessary. I'm looking at a couple different ones.
ETBU
Mary-Hardin Baylor
Greenville College
sam is sam...I'd really rather not go there
The man's heart has interests and desires and longings and giftedness... and makes plans...
Men have to make plans...
To sit back and be idle or passive leads to problems and unrest...
...to dissatisfaction, to too much time on his hands...
Plans are necessary and then
Steps aer necessary...
God's won't MAKE the steps for the man...
But, as man steps out, working out his plans, God will direct the steps...
but the foot has to come off the floor first...
1 Pam 3:14
ok...I'll go if you promise you won't have revival without me
Revival will occur in the hearts of man as he opens up to the life of God...
It's not about a "place" or a "group" as much as it is about the life of a believer...
As Papa John wrote
I wanna be where Your River's flowing
I wanna be where Your Wind is blowing
I wanna be where love is growing
Deep inside me
I wanna be where Your light is Glowing
I wanna be where Your power is showing
I wanna be where hearts are knowing
More and More of YOU
And the LIFEGIVER sang back to him...
In the desert so dry
When you're thirsty and tired
In the turbulent storm
When you're tossed and torn
I'm with you
No matter where your path leads
As long as you will seek Me
Just believe Me
I will be with you.
God IS the REVIVAL! man...
I think I'm gonna apply...but, who knows eh?
There's always that little school in Denton...NORTH TEXAS! They have an outstanding music program and it's only 3 1/2 - 4 hrs. away...
haha...does anyone know how to get your High school GPA?
+ "five year" degree only means that's what it could take. With summers and nights you could finish in 3 1/2...

I never got a transcript...or a final report card for that matter...I have no idea what I made on my final finals...or what I made in senior english! It was probably pretty bad...you see, I got saved, adn started spending all my time with my saved friends and stuff. I didn't do homework anymore
did they give you a diploma???
so, when one gets saved, they stop doing homework and stop being disciplined?
no wonder your parents weren't too happy about your going to RG or CTK...
now i'm seeing the bigger pic
haha, well, at the time I wasn't being such a "saved kid" it was more about the friends. But I did fall in love with Jesus during that time. from february 12th on I was pretty much a bum...but that wasn't a whole lot different from what I'd been before...I had justification(at least in MY mind I did)
my parents didn't like me going, and still don't like it because they don't agree with all the Holy Spirit stuff
that's one reason radical youth groups get a bad rap...
the youth seem to drop out of reality...
and don't get jobs... drop out of school and/or college...
but... that's another topic... and for another day's discussion...
joe and brittany fly in tomorrow at 12:30 Bush Airport. Anybody in the area at that time with nothing to do? At this point, Lindsey has to go pick them up... and bring them back to our house...
Anyone know what time or day the funeral iz?
good night to all of you...
and they don't like that the church doesn't use a whole lot of outside literature. Pastor Mike writes most of it, and they didn't really like that...it seemed kinda cultish to them
there's a funeral? what happened?

lisa lewis was accidently run over by her 12 year old son Tues afternoon
Pray for that little guy... and his 17 year-old brother who was with him as it happened...
Weird accident
Lord heal their hearts...
Lord comfort them as they grieve...
John's niece's husband is friends with Jeff Lewis...
who is lisa lewis...do I know her?
so I applied to Greenville college in Greenville, Illinois
sounds like a wonderful school, and I've been there once...when I was 10. But it was a free application...why not eh?
The thing is, when kids get passionate about anything they tend to be obsessive about it, to the exclusion of other things... i.e., when Richy started playing guitar in 9th grade, he dropped out of honors classes, etc... he just wanted to play. ANd he was definitely not saved. So that's not really a fair generalization.
I feel a little defensive about some of this... honestly, if you are out of high school with no real direction, GO to college.... if you already know what you want to do and you can do it, DO it...
Like, we were 17 and we wanted to do ministry. So we did. And I don't regret it.
And I have gotten jobs where everyone around me has college degrees and I know as much as they do.
College is not a waste- it's great for learning and shaping...
But kids who choose to be lazy or purposeless choose that for themselves... nothing to do with Jesus, RG, or CTK
