Man day

there's a minister han-day... and it sure would be dan-day... ah never mind

I have an ultrasound and a drs. appointment today... so I will be leaving at 11-ish... but my appointments are 2 hours apart so I'll bring my computer and see if I can hop in here from some wireless connection somewhere.

I ran into the couch a couple nights ago and now my toe is swollen and purple. I've waited for "Man day" to share this. Also suggested yesterday was food reviews... local restaurants and such... just in case the testosterone is clogging the old craniums and you can't think of anything.

Wow Rod, 14 hrs! I did a 14 or 15 hour day way back when I worked for Gene Wells building cabinets. We had some job that had to hit the road the next day to be installed so we stayed till like 8:00 PM finishing and loading, that was a long day.

Uh, that was meant for Rob, not Rod. . .I don’t currently know anyone named Rod. Oh I do hear people talking about Hot Rod often, but I’ve never met him myself.

We’ll leave tomorrow morning to drive over to Shannon’s family. Her parents, grand parents (one set), and sister will be there. We’ll be staying at her grandparents for the weekend. This will be Shannon’s first time with her family on the holidays since 2000! She’s is really excited about being there, and I know I’ll enjoy it too.

Yes, 5 years since sharing a Thanksgiving, my b-day in Dec., or Christmas with my parents & sister in person!! It'll be nice to be with them! & fun being big & pregnant these holidays too. : )

We had multiple vacations in WA & saw my family in IL & OH Summer '04 yet they never were during the holidays. We had planned to fly over last Christmas, yet financially we had decided we shouldn't. THEN! We got blessed to move here shortly later in March!

Mmm, my mom makes good turkey, dressing, gravy!, & pumpkin pie. She's also going to make an apple pie too, cause Josh requested one. : ) I'll be making an eggnog pie. (I just got the recipe from the waitress at a small diner on our anniversary- I enjoyed the slice I got, then she gave me the recipe because she had made it).

Dad & Josh will play some racing & Donkey Kong video games..
We'll watch some old videos of my sis & I as wee littles..
Play some games, maybe MadGab, we laughed so much last time we did!!

& be thankful.
