I don't have an appointment today. They are both on Wednesday this
week. So I'll miss most of Guy's Day but I'm sure I'll enjoy the
catch-up.
Today I am thinking of things I am thankful for. One of the lessons
that I have learned over the last 6 years is how good can come out of
tragedy... and there is always something to be glad about.
For JESUS!
I am so thankful for Richy (the 1st). He's my favorite person.
I'm thankful for R2. I'm glad he's like he is. He has taught me
patience and brought me so much joy.
I'm thankful for Rees and Evan. Their brief lives made me a much deeper
person. And they taught us- all of us... how precious life is. Any
life.
I'm thankful for Toby. My gift of peace, Even without having him in my
arms yet, he has stabilized and brought such hope for the future.
For my family... the Yablonskis - you are why I want 5 children. Who
wouldn't want more of what we've got?
For my "other" family- the Clark/Joys - what would my life be like
without you? I can't imagine.
For all of my wonderful wonderful friends. Nobody has it as good as me.
I'm so thankful for my churches.
For my beautiful house
For my car... I still love her even if she ain't what she used to be
For Radiant- the community and this life...
For America
For good ol W
I am so so blessed. And today, at least, I am grateful.

Thanksgiving is going to be really hard for me. Hannah goes to her dads house for 4 days. It will be the first time that she has been away from me. So that is going to be really difficult. PLease keep me in your prayers. I am thankful for my church, my beautiful daughter, and all of my friends and family. I am also thankful for my relationship with Christ and that I am and always will be His beloved as well as mine. I am thankful for hope.
I am also very thankful that Jess and Toby are doing so well. Thank you Lord!!!!!!
YIKES! I FORGOT JESUS! HANG ON
Its okay, I am pretty sure he forgives even that. LOL
Thank you. It really hit home when i was folding her clothes last night think, ya this would look cute for thanksgiving dinner. all of a sudden i thought what dinner she wont be here. I cant imagine next year and not having her for christmas.
This is true. I am very grateful for that babies really have a hard time remembering what hings were like when they are older. lol Anywho.... on a happier note i am trying to get daina and her family down here for christmas without my parents knowing. I am not sure that is possible.
Julie do you have the left over invites or does my mom?
Is Daina married?
yes she has been married for a year now and she has a son who is 6 months old.
wow. I did not know that
AND I am so thankful for my blog. As Crystal says, what a hoot.
ya she was going to have another baby but she lost it. (recently) so i have been trying to cheer her up. not sure if i can though
well hate to cut it short but i have to jet. i still need to get ready for work and get hannah ready for school. so. lots to do
You can't really do much.... to cheer up someone who has lost a baby... just be there for them.
Healing takes time
ohhh these glittery snowflakes make me so happy
i know just kinda wish i could something more. but I know the Lord will comfort her always.
I am thankful for chocolate.
I bet Daniel is thankful for Slim Fast... how do you think he stays so slim?
Robert is thankful for having such a great sister in law.
Josharoo is so so thankful for turtles.
Big Daddy is thankful that he never had to fight D'ana because she would "whup" him.

ESPECIALLY if you have rodent cookies

me to be a coach
around here (CISD)
i feel so powerful....
i'm at Peet, again
LA, History, now PE
later
must....find.....food....so..............weak
I KNEW coaches felt like that!
Why don't you come over to my place, RK? I'd love to have you....
I still haven't eaten because I don't like anything.
.....grump.....
......grump.....
tamales and eggnog are good... but that's more of a late lunch type item.
it's breakfast that I can't find anything I consistently like...
lunch and then more Government/USHistory
I had some interesting opportunities with PE students...I was asked by 1 if I went to church every Sunday, and if yes, if I knew if the world would end in 2010..poor girl, someone had scared her, and she just wanted to ask me outta no where...
then another one was sharing some of his troubles at home/life, and he just needed someone to encourage him...
i guess it was just one of those events...
that's cool, beth... don't you love kids?
oh look at my bulbousness
if you were a zoo animal what would you be...?
the kids are great...
the institutional system of education...needs change
I have thought about this before.
I would be a large feline... maybe a lioness or a tiger
although I generally think of myself as a more domestic feline... just a cat
hunter rather than hunted...good choice
domesticated
(with all the comforts of home) hunter
oddly, i relate to the giraffe, but they are too mellow for me sometimes
i think if i had no need to pay bills, etc...i could enjoy living that slow
jess- anything particular u want Andy to make for thanksday
i'll keep that in mind jennifer..they are hunters too
muy frio....
and a topic discussed yesterday...
jd says people would skip posts if new posts were at top...but i think of it as a book...which i sometimes will want to read out of order, but most read front to back
thanksday....bigger the better
we could rent out a place....
I never read the back of the book first
and I always read all the posts... gotta keep up
what do I want? hmmmm..... apple pie, maybe?
Although I LOVE penguins and wish I could have some as pets, if I were a zoo animal I would be a big king of the jungle (or wanna be jungle) lion. Actually, I would only be a lion if I could roam the open, but not in a zoo. I can see the pain in the eyes of the lions at the zoo, all skinny and showing their rib cages. They weren’t made to be locked up in a space so small. The Lord often uses it to make me think about being made for more than the confines of this world. Starring at the lion at a zoo is actually a very spiritual experience for me, I’ve almost been in tears a couple times.
(wow, that started out on one thing and ended totally different)
I always thought Josh was a weasel
I also think I’d like to be a river otter. They’re so cute and fast and very loving and family oriented. . . and funny.
I think Daniel would be a meercat
GREAT ALBINO WHINO
LOLOLOLOL ROTFL
I just pictured Daniel as a big white drunk rhino. . . the visual is kind of funny.
I had more of a Homer Simpson image
a fat white drunken man... very white
Jessica, what’s an osteridge, do you know? I’ve never heard of an osteridge.
never heard of one... he's probably drunk
Or that ridge on an oster's head?
Jessica you are so beautiful in white.
Check your email grasshopper...but you don't have to be patient because I already emailed you.
:0)
You are so funny...........
I love you :0)
Funny- you’re surprisingly good at that Daniel.
And by the way, I could see you as a great albino rhino, huffing and puffing and butting people with your head.
Yeah, the head can be a very useful weapon.
guys and weapons go
hand-in-hand
or
head-to-head...
And Jessica, if I’m a weasel, then you’re like the queen of weasels, or the queen of queens of weasels. Or maybe even the queen of queens of queens of weasels. Yeah!
Beth- to your question yesterday, I think the public transit can make it’s own Wi-Fi if they want to. I’ve seen lots of articles about the telecom companies getting upset about similar things, saying it will take away business from them. I say anyone can make anything they want to. It brings competition, which is good, and it’s one of the essences of democracy.
mediation is here....or medication...
guys heads are good for opening doors
(or as Jennifer says "cans"), fixing cars, hurrying to a flight, teaching a lesson....
thanks for the insightful comments to the wi-fi question
daniel- take your pills and put some clothes on...you have coworkers to think of...
send a guy in there to get the doll...fight to the finish, or choose a peaceful strategy
according to the constitution, you should get out on bail (for good behavior)
according to the constitution, you should get out on bail (for good behavior)
i know, this puter went wacko...finally had to restart...i think it was the medications...
shopping...what's that?
who can relate to "Home Depot" and "Lowe's" gettin all your $
ONE more CLASS...i don't know if i can go on...no breaks today
I can do it...90 minutes
reeves was not on call when i went into labor with Chris, and i got the "other guy"; forgot his name...
all i memember is he was not happy b/c he was missing his dinner and golf plans...
very well spoken, jd
speaking of service...which restraunt has the best service(and/or food)...everyone vote for the best
ah yes it was Crowder...
14 1/2 years ago (1991)
at Doctor's Hosp
Dr.Crowder
no recent/updated experience....
incredible observation about the staff attitude changes...
i had Dr.Cecil when I had a miscarriage in 1988
(after John, before Chris)
i remember the same type of attitude with the staff, and less friendliness
asian restraunts have smart owners...they specialize in good service...willing to serve...
ok, which of these have
best price, food and service
all in one
actually, we like the Chinese buffet R. by CiCi's...forgot the name, but it cost about $10 each
los cucos used to be good in The Woodlands...haven't been there in a long while
went to the one in Conroe, and we wre not impressed
we actually RARELY eat out...
but good to know when we do
Margarita's has nice atmosphere, service, food and prices..
oh man i LOVE that verde sauce too...you know it comes in a can too
oh yes, jennifer, your parents took me there once...yummy, and large servings
the atmosphere....ummm, different...
food...international pasttime
i always think of japanese food, "slimier" than Chinese
verde sauce in a can...don't know the name of the coompany, but we get it at .99 store sometimes
cheaper isn't always less quality...shop and compare...
i had a personal boycott of Conroe Walmart for the last 7 years...i went in maybe 5 times in the last 7 yrs.
i go to Lake Conroe or The Woodlands
that Sawdust Wmart is unbelievable...i can't imagine why they keep it open
it does have a small-town feel, though
i gotta go home...get my chapstick, and drink some caffeine...i'm sooooooo tired
check your email baby.
well, now that everyone is gone.UPSTAIRS
