Well, we (jacob, chris, natalie, me, three thousand mosquitoes) tried the coke/mentos experiment last night... it was a comedy of errors... hopefully some salvage-able video.
Now to make a cake and figure out how to have an outdoor painting party indoors... 90% chance of rain tomorrow. Sheesh.
On another note, my husband can play a kazoo like a saxaphone. Seriously. He's got skills!

Yes, Keith is getting big. When he stretches out, his head and feet hit the ends of his bassinet already. We may have to move him to a crib earlier than planned.
We’re really enjoying him, and Shannon is doing a great job at motherhood.
I took all week off, even though Jere & Mere came in Monday evening and left Thursday evening.
Keith is now asleep and Shannon is napping, so I just read Wednesday’s comments.
1) I can NOT believe that Guy’s Day was TOTALLY blown over.
2) I am a SKILLED tambourine player. Thanks for the honorable mention, Jessica.
3) MamaPC may have just started the latest craze to sweep the world. . . WWDT—What Would Daniel Think. I mean, I know WWJD rocked the world and made billions for the marketers. Certainly WWDT could make a lot. . . . like say $2.50. I mean, I could use an extra $2.50. I am claming a duel trademark with MamaPC and Daniel Mathews. WWDT will take the globe, and all people everywhere will ask themselves, “What Would Daniel Think?”

hello
i'm finally home... worked til 5:15, then to LUBY's for dinner and stayed for 2 hours, visiting with papa. Hannah came by and ate our leftovers... :0)
then, we headed toward THE GRANDE to see CARS.... but, when we got there, we were SHOCKED (or, at least I was) at ALL THE CARS in the parking lot! What is it with the nation... this community... where SO MANY PEOPLE are out on a Fri night to watch movies... entertainment??? Teenagers hanging all over each other out in the cement ticket area... girls in skimpy shorts and skimpy shirts just hanging out looking for "someone"... there were so many people there, i told my man to just take me back home. who wants to wait in line to pay big money to sit in a theatre right next to people crunching popcorn to see a movie that may or may not be edifying.... when you could watch one at home...and then see the one showing at the theatre in just a few months for a fraction of the cost...
I'm still shocked at our culture...and the things that seem "the norm" for so many people... how much money is spent on entertainment...
How many people just expect to go to movies many times a week..or at least every Friday night...
What is YOUR opinion on this???

I could come on Wed, but I wouldn't want to break my arm, shoulder and right side of my neck unless JC was right beside me... I have what they call
"Bowling Pat-itis"... the syndrome was first described by Dr. P. Terry... from Hicksville, Texas... where, the player can NEVER bowl again because of permanent side-wards gait, and broken posture and zig-zagged stature... once "Bowling Pat-itis" hits a person, the rest of the persons at the alley are concerned that a ball of any size might come hurtling toward them, even though they are sitting BEHIND the bowlee and far from the lanes... Even though the person is standing facing TOWARD the pins, their right shoulder is directed toward the little fan on the neighboring lane, and their left hip is facing toward the concession area...
It's not a pretty sight...
