A friend of mine is writing a book and I am editing it for her.
She has too many names that sound the same and needs to change them.
She has a chicken named Ruby and a feedstore named Rudy's
She has a goat named Betty and a cow named Betsy.
That is why I am asking for help.

just had a bowl of Crouse-Brand Chili...
a whole wheat - sugar in the raw - ginger carrot cake is cooling on a rack as we speak... the cream-cheese frosting is ready to go it, once it cools... hannah's request for her birthday... a whole wheat carrot cake... we'll share it with JC for father's day...
i think the coconut one would be good...

my kitchen is a wreck... why is it, no matter how much you try, it always becomes a mess when you bake or cook... where's the support staff, i wanna know!!!
well, let's hope it turns out... i didn't know how to adjust it, what with all the raw and whole ingrebients... so, i just followed a recipe i found recently...
if it DOES turn out well, i'll try to remember what i did... never cooked with raw sugar before, but it said on the package it can be used like white sugar...
there was a wreck at midway this evening. i heard there was a death. pray for the families...
john's doing so much with music recently (arranging, rehearsing, writing) that he seems really tired so i try not to "need" him in the kitchen lately....
my kids are hardly ever home.... we don't do a lot of home-centered meals any more... sniff sniff....
i just made a double recipe of chili, since anyone can get a bowl and we don't mind eating leftovers of it...
now, other leftovers, i just can't hardly handle...
ok. i am talking too much. need to go clean up that kitchen...
love and hugs..and enjoy your fellowship tomorrow....and watching everyone else eat the pies...
tell your ma hello from me... tell her i took her advice (about bowling) and won't do it until i get totally beefed up in my neck and shoulders.... don't like that weird 2 week neck/shoulder/bowling arm syndrome either...
oh, and ask her about interest in the Tribe of Judah from the announcment last week. did anyone sound interested??? Briana didn't come today. any word on her???

MPC, I had a lovely time with your daughters and future son-in-law tonight. Chron was there too...I seem to always enjoy myself with those types. Maybe it has to do with being around people my age. Although, sometimes I feel second class. Like I don't deserve to be hanging around these way cool people. I mean, what am I? Just an immature kid, but whatever. Well, happy belated birthday to our beloved Hannah Bee!
First Father's Day was great. Just being able to celebrate is the great part. . . just having a child! It's a blessing!
Tron- those people probably enjoy being around you too. I'm sure you're a blessing to them also.
