Well.... my plan to shock and awe everyone worked.
To all who are related to me: I plan on having an amount of kids that will make Woodlands mommies choke on their Starbucks. So, I decided to have a little fun with this one. Next time, you will be notified prior to the World Wide Web.
I am funny, though. You have to admit it.
Bet y'all will keep up with the blog now!
Yesterday I went to the homeschool conference. I really didn't get a whole lot out of it because I don't know what I'm going to do with R2 yet. But, some ideas, yes.
Number one conclusion from the conference: no matter how many kids I have, I will not give them the standard homeschool haircut. Or for girls, lack of haircut. I will also not start wearing jeans way above my belly button with a belt. And a Homeschool Tshirt tucked in. Hey! Power to 'em. They have already done what I want to do... have kids and teach them. I'm just saying, that's all.
So, back to the conference today.
I don't know if this baby is a girl or boy, or even how many babies are in here. I just hope it's not a bat.

you can see my pic still?
it's gonna be a great year!
did I hit a Kat-button? Yikes! Sorry.
Actually, I noticed your jeans at PrayerStorm the other night and thought they looked good... so maybe you aren't as nerdy as you think?
Now that’s funny. Sounds like what I’d get out of the conference.
Beth- so is Bobby Jr getting right with God now? That’s awesome! Why is his baptism at 2 PM rather than during the morning service like usual, or is CTK having a separate baptism service? If more than you wanna say on the blog, email me at:
I think little clarkus should come a tad early- April 14, Keith's B Day.
Maybe someday I will wear the mom jeans... I hope not.
I think I prefer the Dunlap over the round buttoned silhouette... you know?
Me and Steph have had this conversation... when will we stop being cool to Merci and Madi? We're trying to convince them now so they won't decide we're geeks.
Look how cool we are, we say!
I can neither confirm or deny
josh, bobby is part of the fathers house so it is scheduled after church. yes, it is a new start for him...God reigns!
sleepy work break...too short a time for all this heat!
C-

belly just dunlapped over my belt! eh...nevermind...being fat sucks bigtime...
Aveda does pedicures and manicures and hair cuts and coloring and facials and massages and so on and so on.....
Natron...........fat is fat and chunky is chunky and we are NOT defined by our shapes and sizes.....or what color our skin is ect....
WE are who we are....inside....our hearts.....
When and if I ever loose any weight it will be because I decided to. Not because of the way the world sees me.....I do not care anymore. I am who I am....and there will be less of me to love whenever I want there to be.
It is not the most important thing in the world.
ya ya ya
yadda yadda yadda..........

I know one thing for sure, I myself will NEVER wear those above the hip home school mommy jeans.
I just felt like I needed to clear that up.

does anybody have or know of anybody who has an ac unit?
a family at tfh had 2, but one quit yesterday.
nope, don't know of any...
i'm praying for a cold front...
tron - it all worked out.... i hope you enjoyed your time at SCTW...
bethc - PTL your son is now baptized and professing his faith in Christ! I was right behind you and saw how excited you were. How old is he?
Jess - it BETTER not be a bat!!!
Georgis - why are you not so talkative lately??? computer broke??? working??? miss thee...
JESS - i was thinking of our homeschooling days... it takes a real go-against-the-flow-er to home school...
i remember one night when the aurora borealis was making a show in the desert of New Mexico skies...and me and Lindsey spend hours one night on the hood of our van, just watching the display of God's lights in the sky... we took a blanket up there, and just laid there... i'll never forget things like that... when you home school, you can take the opportunity to do what comes up... and not worry so much about schedules... we usually got up around 10 each morning, cause we stayed up late reading together or talking, or creating...
no, i wasn't the perfect homeschool mom.... but, then again, there isn't such a thing as a perfect mom... i tried not to feel guilty if we didn't get things done according to a man-made plan... instead, i tried to grab opportunities as they came... and make life fun, interesting, educational, etc... build science into the cooking, build math into the laundry, etc...
we still DID the curriculum, but much more relaxed than some... and my kids came out higher scorers after 3 years than many others in their classes when they entered private school...
i feel strongly that they should be schooled and disciplined in language and math - with good exposure and enjoyment of science and history...
well, i talk too much...
shove a cup-towel in my mouth...
good evening to all...
Bobby will be 22 on 9/5
thanks to all who came to celebrate with us.
cute scientific quote:
"everyone who has ever interpreted a recipe is a practicing chemist indeed."
I'm so grateful that I could homeschool chris for 2 years. and John was homeschooled 7th & 8th grade with MattSparks' mom. and they got pineywoods for their first several years of school.
I agree with the increased learning opportunities for homeschoolers. thank God for the freedom to homeschool!
Georgia's Internet is not goin yet until they get settled in their new house.
goodnight
Mama PC...you never talk too much...
and homeschooling sounds bueno...
although...my kiddo's aren't gonna be those weird introvert homeschool kids...
hmmm...having fun with alternate tunings!!! what a blast! This makes it easy to make me sound good!! Or at least "new" and "creative"
guitar is fun...but I really really want to pursue piano. WHat I know...I've learned on little 10 minute sessions @ church and @ peoples houses. I had a little keyboard once...but the quality was such that it was stressful to play!
Lord...you know my heart...and you know your plans that you have...you will make a way!
sounds bueno... you know Linds couldn't play piano 4 years ago...
she came home from her first year at college, and felt like she could trust God to help her learn... so, she started plinking... and now look what God has done...
she still doesn't understand like J or Han, or especially Papa, but she is willing and brave...and depends totally on God for the gift...
hannah is needing J to interpret and learn an electric lead part for her... and then teach it to her... so, it's faily noisy on the richter scale right now in that bedroom!
God gives you the desires of your heart...
Does that mean God "grants" your dreams, your requests, your desires...... or does he "plant" the dreams in your heart so that you can work to attain them???
Think about it...
What do you think?
Nite ALL
Old folgie LSAT!
no...I didn't know that...
wow...she was younger than me then!
strange to think that I was at bootcamp between my sophomore and junior year in highschool when crouses were at home learning to play piano...
it still amazes me how completely God has transformed my life. how perfectly he planned for me to be here for such a time as this. I was about this || close to having a full ride scholarship to OU...and I would be in the Navy after that...but God had other plans for me! He had the Navy turn down my scholarship, and by the time I had to decide whether or not I was gonna appeal the descision He had gotten to me!
I'd have just gotten home from summer cruise duty right now had it not been for that! Thank you Lord for your plans for me! Plans of good and not of evil...plans to prosper me and give me a hope and a future!
I need to find me some musician roommates! I'm the only saved one in my house...the only musician...the only one who enjoys rock music...the only one who doesn't enjoy beer...
actually for the next week...I"M THE ONLY ONE PERIOD! My sis and bro-in-law are on a cruise till next sunday! So I'm all alone...which is nice...it's quiet. The only one says anything is the cat...except when I talk to Jesus. But it's like I'm in a different world then anyway...
well...I can't actually say I'm the only musician. My b-i-l plays the sax...but he hasn't played it in a long time
has anyone ever seen TAPS? Tom Cruise's 2nd movie...he was 19 when it came out, so probably 17-18 when they filmed it. It's weird seeing him that young. Anyway...I saw it today, my b-i-l had it DVR'd...highly recommended
both DVRs and TAPS
are you paying room and board there?
later gators... gotta get this laundry finished... then, to sleepy-bye
good night, jess
good night, all
I'm paying board...not room. Just groceries and utilities
LAUNDRY almost finished..
erg...
lsta?
snotta chance
