last night, around 7, me and the mister both started feeling queasy. By 9, I was fully engaged in the battle and then threw up all night long... every hour or hour and a half. And I still feel rotten. REALLY rotten.

Just watched Zathura....wow...that was intense! Maybe cause I'm all dehydrated and my heartrate is already up, but man...that was a good movie. The astronaut was a bit predictable, but it feels good to predict something and be right...anyway...
okay... i'm here, since all of you are gone...
yep, you all must have a bug... some get the runs, some get ths emesis (vomiting), most get the fever (102-ish)...
j has had all but the emesis, PLUS the rash... i'm going to look up scarletina now on the web...to see if that's what he has... but, his fever only lasted two days... tron, what's wrong with YOU!
j had strep throat, in August... with very little sore throat... but, felt really bad so, he went to doc - they did a strep test - and BINGO it WAS strep (we didn't even suspect it!) anyway, they gave him a pcn shot... ...
so, it's been approx 6 weeks - and he has a rash happen all over his body, blotchy rash - then, tues and wed he had 102+ fever... and the rash continues, but he feels mucho better?
so, monday, we need to get him to the doc for a recheck on the strep, i suppose... scarletina aka scarlet fever is very dangerous and is actually the strep gone systemic...
i've been too busy to worry with my 19 year old son... but, now ought to help him, don't you think? he's more independent now, and doesn't want much help from old mom... but, as a nurse, don't you think i ought to direct him in the right direction???
but, he doesn't like me making suggestions right now...
then again, he likes me making him sandwiches...
so, the life of a 19 year old male...

Man, that is very sad. I've only met Charles a couple times, but was very close to Brandon. I feel so sad for the family for an accident like that to happen.
I was just playing with Keith tonight after dinner and telling Shannon that it was when he was about 1.5 months old, and I was watching pictures on our screen saver of Shannon and Keith together, that I felt deeply in my heart this feeling of “if we lost Keith now, my heart would be crushed inside me.” That was when my bonding with him had reached the point where life, for me, would now be different if we lost him.
I can’t imagine what a mother and father feels for their adult child to be lost at still a young age. Very, very sad.
Where is Brandon now? Is he local?
