So, we decided it would be better to have Sane Rested Mommy instead of Crazy Attachment Parenting Mommy. I broke all my rules. Fed the kid a bottle of formula and made him sleep in his own room.... and, get this. He sleeps all night and we both wake up happy. Crazy.
I don't know what I want to do long term... but I forgot what it feels like to wake up rested. This is good stuff.
Also last night I went to the movies alone again... I am digging this. I like going to chick flicks and such. Looks like we're going to make it a once a week thing.
So, spirits are up. And horseriding today.... hopefully it won't be too hot and he can ride in the arena instead of in the woods.

We’re somewhere between attachment and non-attachment parenting. We weren’t sold totally on either “method.” Keith’s crib is still in our room (only cause I have to have a private office and we only have two rooms), but he sleeps in the crib only and it’s been good so far.
Were you co-sleeping before?

We have his crib in our room, and we usually cosleep part of the night... he was waking up constantly the last couple weeks, though, and not going back to sleep in his crib
I saw Step Up last night... lots of dancing... fun
that movie looked pretty gross from the previews
tron- i told the spouse he definitely couldn't see it... no sex but lots of dancer types in dancer garb.
The dancing was not as bad as some of the other dance movies I've seen... this was more dancin and less conversatin, if you get my drift

Our problem now is that Keith is use to being bounced to sleep. That’s the one we said we wouldn’t do too much of, and have done it ALL the time. We’re getting him use to falling asleep in his crib now. He isn't too happy about being put in there before he’s out cold.

she's fighting sinusitis... and i am too... miserable day (and last night) ended up
sleeping on couch-o papa's got sniffles too, so we were keeping each other up last ight...

Good Morning everyone!
BEACH was a blast.....CALEB and JADE ended up being naked ninnies and running around all over the beach....it was great...no one else was around and the babies had fun. We forgot their hats so they got a little too much sun, even with the zinc and bull frog.
We all enjoyed it..
The beach in the middle of the week is the place to go.
