21 weeks
I did go to the Simplify party... it was good eatin. After a fairly short time, I got pretty tired and uncomfortable... I can't sit up that long. So Richy took me home and then went back and did a little karaoke.
I am having a hard time adjusting to him being gone... I need grace, because right now it's just 2 days a week, but soon it will be 5.... ugh
I'm sure once Brynn is born and I am up and around it will be easier... and once the paychecks start coming in.
Sigh. Robin without Batman kinda sucks.

Hello Everyone. Jessica, you are a beauty. Old wives tale is that when you are having a girl it makes for a not so pretty pregnant mommy, but I can see that that is another wives tale proven WRONG!
This was such a great weekend. My eyes have been opened.
The Orphanage is in Ciudad Acuna.
The children are there for many different reasons. Some because they were living on the street alone, like this cute little guy named Fernando. Others because their families cannot afford to feed them, or they are into drugs or prostitution. Each child has a different story.
This little two year old named Cristian has little blond streaks in his wavy hair and he just grabs your heart. He wants to hold the kite string and do all the things he sees the bigger kids do. At one point he fell down and bumped his head, and called for his mother. That really broke our hearts.
Sylvia goes to the Orphanage every weekend. She has been spending her own money on milk and toilet paper and all of the supplies. They never had meat until Sylvia started supplying it. She truly has been a blessing coming every weekend with groceries and necessities.
Last weekend Sylvia came empty handed. She didn't want to come with nothing, but her son Cruz told her to go ahead and go.
Because of this, Juanita and the children prayed all week long. and........this weekend, not only did our Church come, but two other Churches came too, all bringing gifts and food for the children.
God is the supplier. He has his eye on these children, and their faith was greatly increased.
All of the children were so thankful. They are real kids who fought with each other and fell down and got hurt and all of those things, but they were so happy to see us all.
It was wonderful to see all those sweet little smiling faces.
They are in my head forever...and I will be going back!
Kat-
The pic I sent Jessica to put on the blog is one of the 20 where Keith wasn’t looking forward, so it’s not the best one. We did use the best one to make Christmas photo cards. They’re going in the mail today. I have a digital version and will send to Jessica later in the week if she wants to put on the blog. It has a BETTER family pic and a close up of Keith sitting on the tree skirt, with a stuffed polar bear next to him, to match the polar bear on the vest he’s wearing- VERY CUTE!
Jess-
Glad you had a good time at the short partyness. Sorry that you’ll miss Richy.
Due to some things that have happened at Boeing, employees like myself that have access to SSNs, and other sensitive data, can no longer work from home. I’m at a temp desk right now until they get me a permanent one. So, Shannon will be going through the same thing. I will miss seeing her and Keith all the time… really miss them!
MOG says that it is the purest form of religion....to take care of Widows and Orphans.
Dirty little happy faces...
Nathan.......are you off of work yet? How do you like it Book Worm?
The Orphanage needs: Milk, Bread, Bologna, Corn flakes, Chorizo, Eggs, Mayo, Tomato sauce, Sugar, Salt, Butter/margarine,
Detergent, Clorox, Pinol, Fabuloso, Toilet Paper, Toothpaste, Diapers, Baby wipes, soap, deodorant, mop, broom, notebooks, pens, pencils, colors, glue.
What the heck, dirty little faces and kitten going to mexico next year?
Parties and pregnancies and Josh and Shannon not coming home for Christmas.
Keith has 20 front facing pictures and the MOG is on the move again.
You never know what is going to happen here.
Hi Georgia!
Hi Kelly!
Go to ACUNA.........go....
See it for yourself...even our poorest of poor walking the street homeless have it better than the majority of the people in Acuna.
God is so good...SWEET little dirty faces with great big bright eyes and bright smiles.
I can't wait to see the pics.
So many things were amazing to me.
Why do they leave all the plastic
"walmart" bags hanging in the trees? Doesnt someone care enough or have enough time to take them down? Or is it because of the lack of weekly garbage pick-ups or what? The entire area was littered with these bags that had blown in the wind......along with all the other trash on the ground.
I found it strange that no one took the bags out of the trees.
But those little dirty smiling faces are so sweet.
beep beep?
Lsat
frist!
i've been up late because some youths' got stuck in the ditch outside our property - across the road - with no family to come tow them out - and we could not do anymore to dig or pry them out of the mud...so finally he had to call a tow truck...'
it's late...
jess - beautiful picture of you.
did you order any new books yet???
ok - i just noticed that NO ONE has read my latest blooooogggg...
you're invited...
oh, and jess - i remember when John used to work from home when Hannah was a baby. His office was in our living room for a while, then he moved it out to the garage...probably from 1984 to 1986!!! 2+ years working at home...
...those things are rare... most guys HAVE to work elsewhere...
there are so many truths to be learned in these seasons...
it's hard, but it's doable...
i think mothering of several small children is one of the hardest jobs there is... as well as one of the most enjoyable... miserable and loveable...all at the same time...
i remember just WANTING John to be home to take some of the demands off of me... it seemed all I knew was DEMANDS from little children for years... and I had little strength because of physical problems... I spent many a year feeling helpless and victimized and abandoned by John... but, looking back, I realized that I wasted a lot of energy focusing on what was wrong...and focusing on what John was not providing for me and the kids...
John did help me a lot... He was not afraid of working... but he seemed distracted at the same time... so... I felt alone...
Anyway, after years of "going through" things.... I finally got to a point where I was able to accept the fact that he wasn't going to always be "there" for me...or the kids, but that it was okay for me to ask him and/or mention things in a loving way...and/or quietly suggest things that would be helpful...and, you know what? he was glad I was 'directing' him... he did not know what i needed or wanted... and all that time i thought he was just withholding from me...or not being loving...when... he just didn't know what I thought was important...
so, we've worked a lot out...and the past 6 years have been SO MUCH BETTER especially since our communication and selfs are more healed...
don't know why i said all of that...maybe for some of your readers... or possibly for a lurker...
marriage is a "work of heart"...
ok - i must get some zzz's
good mornin' matey's
