the picture show

We had an excursion last night... I went to the movies.
I was kinda nervous about it, but Brynn and I did really well. I think the fact that I am carrying her so high up is helping. Near the end of the movie, I started having a lot of contractions. So I ran to the ladies room while Sylvester Stallone was getting punched in the head repeatedly. When I came back, it was still going on. So it was a good time to leave.
Rocky Balboa was a GREAT movie. I loved it. Seriously. It was really good. We had tried to prepare ourselves by watching some Rocky archives at home the last couple of weeks... so we were ready.
So you should all go see it but not this weekend because this weekend is Prayer Storm.
I have taken the week off from crafty projects and was getting kind of bored... until my new books came! Hooray!

It has been an exceedingly slow blog week. Maybe next week will be an upswing.

exceedingly slow???

hey, tell Richy and Anila that Sing Sing has a boyfriend, or a Daddy or something...

a HUGE Siamese, who I've named "Siam" has come to call... and has been on my back porch daily in the mornings for breakfast for at least a month. He's beautiful!

Caviar has faded to the background. She's a little snitty... and just plain black... so, she fades as the beauty of Sing Sing and Siam takes front and center stage..

I really need to get the kittens "fixed" but don't really have the moolah for such tom-foolery... but, do we want a bunch of song songs and Siamese kitties running around on Hidden Acres???

What other names could we give babies of Sing Sing?

ok - well, who's the fault of a exceedingly slow blog???

i guess it's cause KAT is in California....

ok - i gotta ready for Christmas at Midway...

hugs

and enjoy your books!

Luke 18:2-8
"In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'

4 "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'"

6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

john said a bunch of people were coming in for the Radiant session tonight...

he also said that for some of the sessions - there was only the few on the stage with the one prayer person....

but, we know that even if there is only one in prayer - that God will honor it.... as we band together and stand together in unity....

Mama PC said...

john just came in "pooped"...

he did the 4-6 a.m., the 7-9 a.m. and the 5-7 p.m. today...

then, he'll have tomorrow morning 8 - ?

then, larry has a session in the afternoon that he's asking john to help with.... i'm not sure if john's agreed yet, but says Larry would do it for him if he asked, so wants to help, since larry doesn't have a team to work with...

i'm pooped and i haven't even gone yet!

Lord, honor the cries of your children's hearts, as you have always been faithful to do...

hannah told me today that she took offense at me calling Caviar "just plain black" and non beautiful... I guess she wants Caviar to have equal billing

Lidns and J are driving in...

He's been doing mucho better lately...

Even before he totalled his car.. he was seemingly doing better... Now he has no wheels, so we get to see him more often....

Keep praying for him, though....

Good night all of you wonderful people...

I like Harmony.

Flat note.......

Jeanie GIllette tells a story about a chihuahua named Taco that ran out in the road and was then referred to as tortilla....

Sad story.....

hey
if you see my sons wearing the same thing as yesterday, that's because we just put it on them last night before the service and they're still clean and cute.... so don't think their daddy is slacking.
Wish I could come today... have fun at church!
