Those pics are sad. I was just thinking the other day about New Orleans, with the season coming and the levees not even being fully repaired yet. I heard the other day the prediction is 10 hurricane strength storms this year.

Been busy today at work and about to go to lunch. Looking forward to the three day weekend.

The older I've gotten (seems weird to write those words. . but anyway), I've thought more about service persons on Memorial Day. It used to just be an extra day off school to hang with friends or play video games. I've realized more and more how beautiful America’s freedom really is, and that it really has been largely paid for with the blood of many men and woman.

To be specific, here is how many American’s have given their lives for freedom here and over seas. Man, 400k just in WWII.

Please forgive me Bloggerati for being rude...I was wrong. My heart is in need of drastic change, and it's coming to light in so many areas right now. My heart feels dead, my spirit feels trapped. I feel like I did before I was saved. This is only fleeting though, other times my spirit is alive and everything. Please pray for me, my spiritual moms and dads, I need help! Love you all so much,

looking at the record of the war casualties, there is a pattern after 1900 or so, more wounded than dead. Discovery of pennecillin? increase in medical technology? cool to see the demographics...I'm a history buff

Praying for you, Naytron. We all have those dry times when you wonder what’s going on. It’s in those times we learn to depend on the strength of the Holy Spirit to get us through. They can be some good growing times.

Yo MPC- you also need to reply to the email I sent you yesterday before you leave town tomorrow.

Anyone got big weekend get togetherish plans?

We’re just staying local. I’ll do some things around home that I need to do. We drove 2.5 hours to visit Shannon’s parents and grandparents last weekend. Keith slept for the whole car ride both ways. It was her grandparents first time seeing Keith in person. It was all smiles and ohhs and ahhs.

yes, sivad - bonine otc meclizine... actually an antihistamine that works well on inner ears...

ok josh squash - i'll ck email

congrast Katie!

pray for jc's parents... bad problems financially up there in WF... they are totally in a bad situation but, keep making choices to keep in that situation. no money, too many people not working... co dependencies...

pray that we'll be able to go ahead and enjoy our week long ANNIVERSARY trip.... without feeling guilty. thankfully we've already payed for the majority of the trip - and got good deals back in january, or i think we would have a hard time justifying the expenditures right now with them suffering (i mean truly suffering) up there. (bills due, no groceries, etc etc etc)

we were able to send money for groceries to them.... and i spoke candidly about the fact that we had received a bonus last Nov from my job that we had used specifically in January to pay for our anniversary trip. that way, they know that we're not just using our money freely while they're sitting there with their utilities about to be turned off, their car repossessed, hungry, etc.

we've tried to help them. we've asked them to move down here, but they say "no" - we're staying here for the dependent ones...

that was all just an update for those of you who know a bit about his family. informational for the rest of you.

just pray for jc and me that we'll not "carry" that situation unhealthily.

we're OFF to the great pacific northwest to celebrate TWENTY-FIVE
WONDER FULL
HORRIBLE
TERRIBLE
GLORIOUS
YEARS together.....

Me and Papa JC....

sivad? do you have any nasonex? or steroid nasal spray ???

my allergist had me (when my ears were acting up so badly) to use the steroid nasal spray twice daily to help calm down the tissue in the eustachian tube areas...which helped to equalize the pressure.... the swelling in the e tubes caused pressure problems and caused pain, and hearing loss and dizziness...

wouldn't hurt to try...
seems like you've had lots of allergy-type symptoms over the past months... i had relief after the first sprays!

Mama PC's life's account inspired me to tell my story, but I am not as good of a story teller as she is. If anyone visits my blog and reads the post, please let me know
