accountability

This morning was the second morning in a row that we woke up to find
Richy outside in his swimming pool, fully clothed. We gotta do
something about the porch gate.

Still don't have a lightbulb for the laundry room. All I need is the
light replaced... Has anyone helped their brother to remember to do
this? I think not. You can all write him now. Richyclark@richyclark
and you know the rest.
Just encourage him to change the lightbulb.

Here's a little form letter, if you prefer.
Dear Brother RICHY,
As a brother/sister in Christ, I urge you, RICHY, to change the
lightbulb in your laundry room. RICHY, this is a once in a every
couple of months opportunity. Don't pass it up, RICHY! You have the
chance to bring a little light to a dark situation. Don't wait, act
today, RICHY!
With the love of Christ, RICHY

Jess- I just realized that Toby isn’t 6 months yet. I was thinking he was born early December, but went back on the blog and see it was the 28th. Were the stats you gave yesterday from his 4 month? And, I was wrong, Keith is 24 ½ inches now already.

jess said...

Uh...no

jess said...

no to Mr. Caw, that is

those stats were from like a week or two ago... our appts are all over the place cause we're spacing out his shots

Josh said...

Keith is busting out of the 0 – 3 month baby clothes already because of his length, and he’s only 2 months. We retired several last night. He’s almost in all 3 – 6 month and some 6 – 9 month stuff. So, we’ll be spending money on clothes sooner than we thought since he’s out grown a lot of the baby shower gifts.

Josh said...

He could also still play without finger nails, so you can yank em’ out.

jess said...

that's my virtual model from the Land's End catalog site... she has my dimensions and hair color, and I picked her clothes

jess said...

Did you go make a model?

Josh said...

You know, “Caw” is the sound that annoying crows make. The name fits you well, Mr. Caw.

Josh said...

I can hear crows right now outside my window. I’d like to go take a gun to them.

Another similarity with you and crows, Mr. Caw.

Dear Boeing Tech Person,

In the event that I am being monitored, please note that this is in jest with friends, and I am not making a real threat of violence to a real person. You may cancel the call to security. Thank you.

OK, back to work.

Just when you thought your work day couldn't get any worse, you made a fumble and cost your company $11,000,000 bucks:

CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - A worker accidentally tripping a shut-off switch at a major Ontario plastics plant will cost Nova Chemicals Corp. $11 million in lost profit, the company said on Wednesday, because it won't be able to fulfill some contracts because of the blunder.

A contractor's employee installing a structural steel platform at an ethylene plant in Corunna, Ontario, mistakenly activated a process shutdown switch on Monday afternoon, halting production and forcing two weeks of repairs at the facility.

"The switch is a safety thing so if anyone sees something going wrong they have the opportunity to shut down the plant," said Nova spokesman Greg Wilkinson. "But that's not what happened here. It was not a safety issue. It was simply inadvertent."
