Stanleys dont bowl and if they do they dont do it well, ask them to sing or dance or play music or make some art work.

I have to back up and remember what it is I have to repent for and get back with you Kat, Seems like it was supposed to be a compliment. Oh, I remember, yes, that is private, I will email you about it.
This wednesday is definitely out, same TFH meeting as Pat. Actually I am supposed to be there the other wednesdays also, so if I go bowling I think I might get hung by a TFH rafter or small chandelier,or maybe just have to do food pantry for 6 months or something. Sat is good. not this one but maybe next one. Sun after church is good. Even the rest of the week would work for me I think. Are we bowling in Conroe or the Woodlands?
Ps, my brother Bob has a birthday on the 3rd, he would love to come, he goes to the Sanctuary. We could smuggle the cakes in for him.
He will have to walk in, WAY to large to smuggle.

does the cake get soggy from the custartd?

I am not as good at this a some would be but I think it is a little soggy from the custard, and of course with the cake fresh and the icing fresh it would be soooo good. I have had some old ones, who werent so good. I like a lot of custard, but some might like it thinner.
I guess it would go like this. A thick chocolate icing on the top of moist yellow cake layer, no icing on the sides, most of the time they have a cellophane circle around the sides then a thick yellow custard on top of a chocolate iced second layer. I dont remember if the second layer is iced on the sides or not, but I LOVE chocolate.
I recognized you from clam's blog pictures. You need a chef hat. That would be cool if you wore one for the bowling party.

I am thinking that you probably want someone to try them, that is why I am asking this. I am an artist and artists are nothing without people to see and hear and taste the artwork and it seems you feel that way about cooking also. So, I am not trying to be rude, just trying to give you an avenue to let us sample your work

You know Anna Dial used to make a banana pudding that made Mike crazy. He would look for it every time. There hasnt been any since she died. I know David loved it too, but I hope it doesnt make John fall off the wagon.
It is not the moon pie one you make that is yummmy, it was a more just plain banana pudding.
