Well, according to Babycenter, if I am 10 weeks pregnant... (I think I may be more like 12)... but if I am 10, my baby is the size of a kumquat. What? Can I have that measurement in AMERICAN fruit?
We used to have a kumquat tree outside our house when I was a kid... can you eat them? I never did. Huh. Seems to me they were about the size (circumference) of a Nilla Wafer. So, there you have it.
This week your fetus is the size of a Nilla Wafer!
Man, I have this gorgeous house covered in laundry. CLEAN laundry that has to be folded and put away... I hate this part. I wish a) the laundry would automatically go back to the proper drawers or b) we could just throw it away and buy some new clothes or c) I had a maid. This is not a solicitation for poor morning sick Jessica. This is just whining from your standard model Lazy Jess.
Hey, and where is everybody? Do I need to stir up some controversy? Maybe put a picture of the Rock for Stephanie's pick?

I’ve never heard of kumquat, so I had to look it up. Nilla Wafer is probably about right.
YOUCH about Isaac. I hate getting blisters on my hand, in the throat would be very bad.
NOW- you have completely disregarded Guy’s Day for 4 weeks straight now. If you were ending it a funeral or tribute on how Guy’s Day enhanced and added to all of our lives would have been nice. BUT NO, total disregard for the men.

hi crystal...so sad to hear about little Isaac. My other 2 had it several times when they were younger. It's not fun. But you do get lots of cuddle time.
Lucas has been fussy and drooling excessively the last few days - I just chalked it up to teething. I'll keep a close eye on him -- thanks for the warning.

I am still feverish...it broke today, but I think it's coming back. Still having DI tract issues as well. No rash for me...poor lil jpeg and isaac...
pardon I...that should have been GI tract...as in gastro-intestinal...

Did you hear the new Jonny Lang yet?
I saw Lionel Richie and Tina Turner in concert when I was about 8 or 9. I remember Lionel's band all switching instruments during one "jam" and keep right on playing...that was cool (even now I still think that). Also, Lionel did this duet with Donna Summer; except she wasn't there. They had a tall projection screen on stage with Lionel with a recording (video and audio) of her singing. There were two stagehands holding the screen, and when Donna Summer started walking one direction, they would walk the screen, too. The crowd went nuts. Sure was easy to thrill back then.
Oh, and I don't think Leah's dad ever knew that I saw Tina Turner in real life...if he did, he would have been supremely jealous! (just ask Linda)

yes, tron - he had the gi problems a day or so... and he's had this strange rash... and high fever...
so - it's the GODSTOCK virus, i suppose..
no, i'm sure not shingles....
shingles runs in a pattern from the spine, down one or the other side of the body, like a streak of a rash....that looks like chicken pox and is EXTREMEMLY PAINFUL. only rarely does shingles run down bilaterally...
anyway, j's rash is kinda all over his trunk, abdomen, waist, hips...
strange, huh? see if any of you all's other friends who were at GS have it. does nathan S have the rash?
ok - out - gotta clean this kitchen that's been growing in mounds over the past few days while we've all been under the weather...
