Babies have it good with the whole whining thing. Imagine if we, as adults, just sat on the floor and kept up a steady moan... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and so forth. Would someone come rushing to our aid with mashed up veggies and toys and so on? HECK NO. Nada. Zip.
But oh the whining.... it hits this central nerve right in between my ears. It sends a sharp spike of pain through my brain matter and then travels through my nervous system. And I am a slave to its bidding.
In other news, no news. Have yet to receive my insurance... I have given up and am waiting semi-patiently 7-14 days for it to arrive. Morning sickness is lifting, nice. No weight gain yet, although I am getting a little poochy. Toby is getting a bottle of formula at night, and basically sleeping through... he wakes up once but goes back to sleep. He is also eating table food now, which is quite entertaining to me...
How do I feel? Well, grumpy right now. I need breakfast.

Ummm, I was under the impression she had fresh fruit and whole milk for breakfast.

so what are the rules concerning having a 24+ hour fever? It has broken somewhat...but still technically a fever...
i'm not mamapc, but i think it depends on how much fever.
low fever....more sleep
high fever....consistently high fever---maybe medical attention
it peaked around 102...it's been at LEAST 99 since yesterday morning around 9
I took tylenol...a bunch of it yesterday...
today I found some advil
took 4, because my head was exploding and my fever was making me sick with hallucinations...my mind seems more susceptible to those with fever now that I'm older.
but around 11 or so my fever "broke" but it didn't really...just went down. But I feel alot better. I sustained 101 for about 6 hours yesterday
I am incredibly cold right now...
I have thought of the same things, wouldn’t it be funny if adults still laid on the floor crying like babies. Wal Mart would be so much more fun to go to!

well, I have a couple of those "contact immediatly" symptoms, but they are more easily explained away by rocking my head off @ Godstock this weekend. Headache, sore neck, back pain, abdomninal soreness and cramps...but I think that goes with the actual sickness that I have...

Jpeg has a fever as well. i like it somewhat when my kids have a fever (j and linds)... this is when they become talkative..and i can hear all kinds of stories! they're kind of funny...

I’ve had a headache since Saturday morning that I attributed to some neck and back tension I was having. I went to the chiropractor yesterday. Neck and back are good now, but headache is still here and now is the “throbbing head when you stand up” kind, and it really hurts when it throbs. I’ve developed sensitive sinuses in the last 5 years, and the weather is starting to change here for fall (since we actually have defined seasons here). I think this happened last year at the same time and it was a sinus infection. If my throbbing is still persisting tomorrow, I’ll probably see the doc on Thursday.
I’ll have to check out the Johnny Lang, via the link Rob gave this AM.

went to sleep at 8:30 p.m.
I'm ON CALL til 7 a.m. at the hospital...and needed to sleep early in case they call...
but, NO, the dog barks and the doors are opening and closing at 11:30 p.m. as well as Papa JC getting into bed, rearranging the covers, wiggling, scratching, wiggling, rearranging, turning, BREATHING!!!
i'm gonna be Lucy Ricardo and get twin beds for my master bedroom suite.
either that or one of those "doesn't disturb your partner when you get into bed"...

I don’t go to the doc for my sinuses or take any meds. It isn’t that bad, and I would resist taking maintenance medications anyway. It seems I’ve gotten sinusitis/sinus infection once a year for the last couple years. I go to the doc for that, get some meds and it’s over with. The rest of the sinus season, it’s mostly low grade annoyances.
I have your email address, and I’ll send one to you. I’ll take any suggestions for sinus headaches since that’s what I mostly get.
