all done fasting/ BIRTHDAY PARTY

Well, I am ending my fast early as I miscalculated and was planning on ending this morning. Richy continues to fast. I've had a good day or two, very few contractions... I just need to be at peace no matter what my body is doing, you know?

Richy's interview went well... no word yet. Hopefully we'll hear something today.
17 weeks today! 20 weeks to go to be "full-term"! Not bad, eh?

Toby went to the doctor again yesterday. But not his doctor... just the one who was available. Very strange, I am older than a lot of doctors. Very very strange. So anyway, we got the new doctor. She said she just started practicing in February. Should they tell you this? Also she mentioned that she doesn't really know what works yet, so she just does what they did where she trained. Which is fine. But does not inspire confidence.
I like old male doctors who know a lot from experience. But still listen to what I read online and at least act like maybe I know something. Anyway, we got albuterol and steroids for breathing treatments every 4 hours. He LOVES the nebulizer. I have to take a picture of him smiling and chewing on the mouthpiece. He is already much better.

** I forgot to announce! Richy and Robert's birthday party! My house! 1:30 Sunday... I am making chili! All invited!

News Flash! … … … GOD IS REAL!

Everyone that has an ear to hear knows that we are on the edge of some real breakthrough here. You can feel the pressure and the Spirits desire for breakthrough. God is waiting for our response.

"Yet even now," declares the LORD, "Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping and mourning; And rend your heart and not your garments" Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil" Joel 2:12-13

Friday December 8th, I am moving some furniture and opening up my living room. This is an invite to join me and a few others in seeking to contact the supernatural entity, the substance of the Living God, the GOD who answers by FIRE! God who longs to reveal Himself to His creation, His sons. God the Father, God the Spirit, and His Son the bridegroom King. Jesus Christ… GOD

We must know Him! We cannot go on any longer or survive the years ahead of us unless we repent and become rooted and grounded in His love in a real relationship and in real communion with the living God. I am believing God for breakthrough. Breakthrough that will start with us and spread throughout MCF and Montgomery County. I believe for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, for transforming power from on High.

It didn't hurt at all...I heard the crackling noise and smelled my hair burning so I backed up..

That was weird......and fast!

Josh said...

VKG- What good is a solo cup? Won't there be more that one person there?

Josh said...

What fire?

Nate said...

you mean that somebody actually got cold enough to constitute starting a fire? Unless said fire is for recreational purposes(i.e. bonfire with lots of aggies)

WHOOP!

Josh said...

Where was this fire, maam?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

LOL Josh......

Solo cups......with an s

A lot of big branches have fallen because of the powerful wind storm earlier this week, so I started a burn pile .....I was putting more leaves on the fire when I got too close....

Viking Granny!!!! said...

That cracked me up......

You sound just like the real fire dept....

Josh said...

I am the real fire department.

Do you have a burning permit? I think I'll refer this matter to Sgt. Ruthers of the CPD.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Hellooooooo

I live in the country........

We do not need such a thing to burn out here in the land of shootin n cuttin through the woods.....

Viking Granny!!!! said...

If you look up the history of where this community got its name....on the internet..it says that some little kid was talking about cuttin and shootin through the brush to get to his relatives home or something bazaar like that.

I am not sure if I believe it...

Viking Granny!!!! said...

I need 2 or 3 quotes on business type letter head for a repair job on my guitar......

Are there any Guitar Drs out there?

Josh said...

Oh, the country. Well, burn all you want, the city doesn't care what happens to you hicks out there.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

yellow pages here I be........

Viking Granny!!!! said...

lol.....

is that why we don't need any burn permits even on a windy day.....?

Josh said...

Per Montgomery County Fire Code, Section 12.257-f, residents in Cut-N-Shoot are encouraged to reserve their burning for very windy and dry days in the months of July and August.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Ya ya ya ..........

Yadda Yadda Yadda.....

Josh said...

Wow, you’re disrespectful to policemen and firemen. I hope, for the sake of your dog, that you never need assistance called to your home.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Knock Knock!

What does he have to do with anything?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Enoch and I have mucho respecto for Men in Uniforms.

Josh said...

That's good to hear. Have a good evening, maam.

And remember. . . only you can prevent forest fires.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Okay Smokey!

What am I going to do about all the singed eyebrows and hair/

Does Smokey have any suggestions?

Josh said...

I can loan you some hairs from the back of my right thigh, if you have some good glue.

Mama PC said...

you guys are strange...

Viking Granny!!!! said...

lol

hot glue gun.........but then we would be back to square one with singed and glue burnt eyebrows.

Mama PC said...

hot gloo works goot!

it ak'-tu-al-ly works somewhat like an invisible, non-permeable bandage! it burns the fire out of your skin... but then remains as a clear little bandaid to keep germs outta the wound!

Shannon2-24 said...

Wow! Sounds torturous.

Add a burn on top of a wound..

Are you saying people seriously do this?? Might be good for things in grave need of infection-protection.

Hm, that's a neat thing to say:

infection-protection
infection-protection

it's the new invention

infection-protection

Shannon2-24 said...

Keith is drooling.. teeth a-coming soon!

Mama PC said...

no, shan - not actually done on porpoise...

there is a thing called DERMABOND which is a surgical glue - used instead of sutures (stitches) on the outermost layer of the skin

the surgeon stitches up the inner layers, then, on the outside, brings the skin edges together, and applies this superglue that is cold when it goes on... and leaves an impermeable layer of clear glue to keep infection out and keep skin edges together.... to keep the incision edges "approximated"...

now you've learned something new.

i like to see Derma Bond on my patient's incisions after surgery...

Mama PC said...

make sure Keith is taking his recommoended vitamins - or that you are taking YOURS... teething babies do better when they have enough (not in excess) of Vit A and C

Nate said...

ok...

I know I already said slater...

but I figured I had to post this before I forget.

North Conroe, Friday night/Saturday morning. Approx, 11:50-12:00. A lone silver ford taurus streaks down the road at an incredible 50 MPH...minding his own buisness and thinking about what he shall do in the morning, the driver doesn't notice the brown hulk in front of him crawling across the bridge he is about to cross. THen DUNK DUNK...he's hit it. Thoughts dash through his mind, "WHAT IN THE HECK WAS THAT?!?!?" Was it a tire? Was it a dog? Is my tire flat now? Was it a person laying in the road?

He turns around to investigate. Pulling up behind the lifeless brown mass...he spots something strange. A flat tail, "Could it be?.....no...it couldn't be"

Strange thoughts arise in the driver's mind as he puts on his hazard lights and exits his car to get a closer look. As he approaches he sees what he thought to strange to believe...a flat tail, attatched to a large rodent-like body...

IT IS!!! IT'S A BEAVER!!!

I hit a beaver!!! WHAT THE HECK?!?!? WHO CAN SAY THEY'VE HIT A BEAVER? IN CONROE...

it was really big...like...probably 30 pounds. It was fat, I kicked it and it moved like jello...it was big...a lot bigger than I ever thought a beaver would be.

AND I KILLED IT! I RAN HIM OVER!

He's dead...about 2-3 miles north of loop 336 on frazier...heading out of town. There's a bridge running over a little creek...and he's laying on the side of the road if anyone wants to go look at him. I wish I had a camera...it was priceless!!1

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Poor little guy...........He was out gathering twigs for his damn family......and you killed him!

The only surviving damn beaver family in Conroe and who do they meet up with? The exterminator!

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Have you ever seen a brown oppossum? Sometimes their tails get spread out and flattened when cars run over them.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Hey Blondie! Two words......

Buddy Pass.....

Or better yet......get you a part time job at Continental and fly anywhere in the world (that Continental goes) for $20....

Get a buddy of yours to get the same part time JOB and go together.

Scotty only worked 10-20 hours a week and was able to travel to London ect.....and so was Jeannie his mom and his kids.....

Then you could see the mountains close up. You need to see the mountains......

Bummer, Napalm has never seen mountains or snow. I didn’t either till 1998, the first Radiant / drama team tour. Jeremy had never seen mountains until he and Meredith vistied us this past June.

All the mountains around us here (nearly 360 degrees) now have snow all over them, they opened the ski resorts this weekend. We drove around looking at some property yesterday and got pretty close to some snowy ones. I’ll have to post a couple pics we took.

We're looking at 2nd stage car seats, Keith is about to out grow his rear facing only one.

Jess- what front facing + booster did you get, or did you just get a three stage to start? What brand & model?

Mama PC said...

josh - i can remember that when Lindsey was a baby, in 1982, it wasn't even a law that you had to have a carseat... that law was enacted i believe in '83 or '84 in Texas. Before that, people would just carry their babies in infant seats, where you could wrap the seatbelt across it... but, the baby wasn't actually belted in... we DID have a carseat for Linds and we made a practice of always having our kids in them...

Here's one for the iPod lovers:

Lost man's iPod doubles as rescue beacon
By The Associated Press

CORVALLIS, Ore. — An iPod glowing in the middle of the night from thick underbrush led rescuers to a mushroom picker lost in the woods.

The search leader said Pini Nou, 25, was on his first outing Thursday and got separated from his mother, an experienced mushroom hunter.

At nightfall, she called Benton County authorities for help.

Peggy Peirson, acting county emergency management coordinator, said Nou used his cellphone to describe the landscape to rescuers as best he could in the darkness.

They finally located the Vancouver, Wash., man after 1 a.m. Friday when a member of a search-and-rescue team saw the light from the iPod, she said.

Nou, lacking a flashlight, had been using the music device for light, Peirson said.

She said the underbrush was so thick it took rescuers more than 20 minutes to reach Nou once they saw the glow.

Peirson said he was lightly dressed, and Nou said he was cold and tired and had aching feet.
