Heyyyy, great news, we have a great-smelling fir tree in our home.. our first tree since our 1st married Christmas.. my I've missed a tree on our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th ones.. now for our 6th Christmas.. especially with our first baby, I reeeeally wanted one! We are about to decorate it!!

My mom had what appears to be a mild stroke this afternoon. She has been admitted to the hospital for observation, but Leah and Richy both say she is fine... no damage.
Good chance it wasn't a stroke after all, but we'll know more soon...keep praying!

my kids and I decided to make a cardboard tree this year... huge... and decorated and such... multi=dimensional....
but, last night i dreamt i got a real one again and decorated it....
i just hate picking up the needles and cleaning up the mess afterwards...
i'm on call...
my phone doesn't pick up (nor does the beeper) in the sanctuary or in metal buildings.. so i have to stay available til 7 a.m. Mon morning...
will go to rehearsal this noon - getting the Christmas music and show ready for next week at TFH and the following at CTK banquets...
last night John's nephew (worship leader at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas' Spanish School) ended up spending the night with us... just showed up unexpectedly...
glad to see him...
but, we didn't get to bed til 2 a.m.!
oh, jess, we got together yesterday afternoon and made GINGERBREAD HOUSES!!!
