Well, I am once again devoid of a power cord... so the laptop is
being used in small rations today.

Tonight is the RadRev Christmas party. You should all go and get your
dance on.
As for me and my house (well, most of my house), we shall go to bed.
Except, I am considering sending R2 because he loves parties so much.
As we speak, Toby is happily crunching some Apple Zings... R2 is
snoring, and Mama is making some cinnamon toast on homemade bread.
Mmmmm.

Today, I will take a break from puppets. At least for a few hours. I
have some other presents to make. I cannot believe that Christmas is
this weekend.

Yo, working here. Not much to say today..

Oh yeah, Keith got REALLY excited when I came home yesterday. I haven't worked a full day away from home in over a month. He was on his tummy facing away from the door when I walked in. I said,
"Hey Keith, hey little guy." He was trying real hard to look back to see me. Then Shannon stood him up facing me and he started bouncing and throwing his arms around like crazy, and he smilled when I talked to him, still with his arms going. It made me feel good after my first day working back in the office.

So Jess, you tried to go to Richy's company party, but you won't try RadRev? I'm sure it will be a blast.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (Reuters) -- A hotel in Indonesia is dishing out a hamburger that costs more than twice the monthly minimum wage in some parts of the country.

The $110 hamburger offered by the Four Seasons is made of Kobe beef with foie gras, Portobello mushrooms and Korean pears -- served with french fries, of course.

They're not exactly selling like hot cakes yet, but the hotel says it has sold 20 of the 1 million rupiah ($110.10) hamburgers since they were launched this month.

"One burger has 225 grams of Kobe beef. It is so expensive because the flavor is really different," said Erwan Ruswandi, the chief of the restaurant offering the gourmet burger.

"The calves in Kobe get special treatment ... they drink beer mixed with milk, vitamins and eat pesticide-free grass. We add foie gras and also some Korean pears. We import all the materials, and they are high quality, so it is so expensive."

I need prayer everyone.. my mid-back/shoulder area is aching a lot lately.. from nursing & carrying Keith around.. please pray for me & wisdom on how to do things the best.. & my chiro to adjust the best.. & my faith, as a gift from God, to come.. & facing that He hasn't healed me so far.. I'm pretty disheartened. It's rough hurting everyday. I long for how I felt in my late teens.. so light & able to move around a bunch with no pain. Thanks for caring & fervent prayers.

At least my migraines are so, so rare.. that's a huge good thing.. I had so many before.

i'm so glad your headaches are minimized...

are you supporting your arms and back when nursing? must do that...

Mama PC said...

talk with an md or physical therapist about exercises that will help you develop the muscles needed to keep your upper body strong enough to carry itself and do the work it is called to do...stretches, etc... relaxation...

Hello?

MamaPC-
Keith weighs 18-19 lbs.
I do use a boppy.. yet it isn't quite tall enough for me, since I'm tall.. trying to figure something else to add with it.. I need a good low back pillow, one I had used for awhile was too thick/not even for the low back.. definitely helped, yet was annoying to adjust perfectly multiple times per day.. so I need to look for one.. I do watch my posture since I know it effects much.. another factor: Keith lunges & reaches for things he can't have.. must pull him up many times.. need to clear some 'no' things that surround us on the couch.. that's what Josh suggested. : )

Ya, I plan to see my md soon, I could ask about stretches, etc. Thank you for mentioning that.

I've noticed that as my vertebrae gets out & pinches, that I tend to have my shoulders more forward so I don't feel it, yet am trying to still keep them back.. this is even when walking around, washing hands, etc.

I think it will help when I have him in his next size car seat. I currently carry him in his infant one to the car.. 10 extra pounds out beside or in front of me, it'll be better to just carry HIM out to the car.. it has been nice for when he falls asleep on the ride & bringing him in.. & the time bundling him inside where it's warm.
We'll be getting the new one in the mail anyday now!! : ) Yeah! It's a really nice one! Josh let me buy the GOOD one!
