20 weeks! Halfway-to-toby-GANZA!

Today marks halfway to full term... for the average person. For Leah,
it's just another day.... ho-hum.

Since I'm shooting for 36 weeks, I'm well on the downhill slide.
BUT.... if I go all the way to my due date, it's 20 weeks from today!
Halleraylujah!

"The fetus (TOBY) measures about 5.6
to 6.4 inches from crown to rump and weighs about 9 ounces. Your baby
can hear sounds by now -- your voice, heart and your stomach growling,
as well as sounds outside your body. It will cover its ears with its
hands if a loud sound is made near you, and it may even become
startled and "jump." The baby is moving often, too -- twisting,
turning, wiggling, punching and kicking."

BethC said...

20 weeks....what a booty....beauty...how wonderful

Georgia said...

No, I am not anonymous. Someone else is witty too, I guess. I always have a name.
This anon person is getting to be a real mystery.
I dont know who they are.
Thought it was you at one time Beth, but no more.

I dont have Z figured out yet.
I dont have KG figured out
I dont know who Ratking is
And there is one anonymous that does not even sign on with any name at all
I dont know that one either
So much for being intelligent.

Georgia said...

That was cute, what a booty.

Georgia said...

I have a cold, so I will not Jig. But I will do what R2 did. PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!

I hope I dont still have a cold when Leah goes to the birthing center.
That would be a real drag, to look forward to something for 9 months and not get to do it.

I guess you know about that, huh, Jess.

Georgia said...

I was referring to the fact that you wont be able to see Kai born,
not something sadder, please dont get sad over that

Georgia said...

I could delete that but Jess would still get it. Sorry, STUPID!, STUPID!, STUPID! (banging head against wall)thump, thump, thump.

Georgia said...

So, someone talk about something else, Hey, how about them Astros?
How's Garret doing in preschool?
HOw many children does Rob have?
What is Mama cooking?
How many spikes is Daniel wearing today?
Where the heck did you get that violent cat picture, Julie?
How about some banana pudding Ratking?

Georgia said...

Ok, left here to wallow in guilt and misery, scum bag that I am.
(head hanging in remorse)

Georgia said...

Whew, thanks,
I heard that there is an website or something with that kitty shooting stuff up. Do you have that?

Georgia said...

She must be really good. Does Garrett like her?

Georgia said...

Matt, did you tell me yesterday that there was a website, or is it just an email with Julie's terrorist kitty?

BethC said...

Georgia said...

Have you ever thought about setting Scotland free from oppression as a living?

Georgia said...

Not only is she claiming to look like Mel Gibson, now she is saying she drew it!

BethC said...

not a self-portrait...he's my neighbor

BethC said...

i ride therefore i am

BethC said...

i want everyone to know my bday is net month, but if i put it in my profile the blogger assigns a sign to me...i refuse the sign assignment so i tell ya it is 10/10
Jess is 10/17

Georgia said...

Beth, your blog says your industry is real estate. Are you secretly in real estate?

BethC said...

real estate is my newest endeavor...i really wanna take some classes..i've been reading stuff from the library...

Georgia said...

I can just see Uncle Bubba falling through the ceiling onto the table. Part of me would have liked to have been there, but the cussing later would have been too much to bear.

BethC said...

i feel dizzy
how bout u

Georgia said...

That's funny. Right in the potato salad. Man!

Georgia said...

Beth,
I think you should stick with freeing Scotland from oppression,(Mel Gibson) its easier to get into and you dont have to take a test and get a license.

Georgia said...

Layla just found a black widow spider. They are here in the complex. That is so scary. The spiders are so bad here.

Georgia said...

They were a kind of proper family. I dont know about you , but I would have ate the fried chicken, I dont think they probably did though

Georgia said...

Do you have to spray it directly on the termites?

Georgia said...

Well, I think I understand how Uncle Bubba felt. I have never been the same since I fell through the floor and Mike saved the ham first and then me.
I still have nightmares about sticking halfway out of the floor in my pajamas saying Mike, help, help and him grabbing the ham first.

Georgia said...

There is two problems
One is no one would EVER want to move out of my apartments. they are the greatest ever, (besides the spiders)
and this is Mike's job.

But, I am really worried about the spiders, the manager moved out because of them. I dont know what we can do to get rid of them. We live on Lake Houston, so I wonder if it is just part of being on the lake.

Georgia said...

Ratking, why dont you get a job, they need rats at Disneyworld, Astroworld is hiring rats, New Orleans needs entertainment. You could imitations, this is your big chance to be Elvis with a little modification on the ears and tail,

I'm back, I'm back. La la la la!
I'm sure everyone is thrilled to see me once again. I'm so glad to see you, too.

Make some money for me, too, please. And how about some of that pudding that you always refer to? I like pudding. Pudding is good. Very good. Doesn't everyone like pudding? We know that Ratking does.

(z)

Anonymous said...

Oh yeah, I have another comment: I think there is someone who is posing as me (z). I won't say how I know because that will let the imposter know. You guys be careful. There is only one TRUE (z) - and that's me!

Georgia said...

Hey, Z glad you are back, where did you go to? Where did you pack for?

Georgia said...

then how will know if it is the imposter or you?

Anonymous said...

Georgia, just look carefully at both comments to see if you can find the subtle difference. It's there. I was quite shocked to think that someone would dare to impersonate me. How rude!

But then, just anyone can come on these blogs. I have visited many blogs to see what's up on other sites. Most are quite boring. This one, however, is fun! You have friendly people in here.

(z)

Anonymous said...

Georgia, I think you should get another picture, please! Looking at those pancakes makes me really hungry! My poor tummy is growling - it's wanting pancakes!

Anonymous said...

(z) That was me above

Georgia said...

Z, Now do you promise to be truthfull if I ask you some questions?

Georgia said...

Im gettin tortured with the pancakes myself. Think I will find a Larry or something.

Georgia said...

Question number one for Z

Will you answer with the truth?

Anonymous said...

Depends upon the question, G. If it reveals my true identity, then no.
(z)

Anonymous said...

But ask anyway. I may be able to tell the truth & skirt around your questions, if you know what I mean.
(z)

PS This should be fun.

Georgia said...

Ok, Question number two for sometimes will be lying Z

Do you have any children?

Anonymous said...

Avast, me hearties! Do you know that it is "Talk Like a Pirate Day"?
(z)

Children? Me? Guess!

Anonymous said...

Arrrrr!!!!! (z)

Georgia said...

Question number three for the skirter Z

Do you live in Montgomery County?

jess said...

georgia- no fear... i took the comment as you meant it... besides. I've never waited 9 months.... this will be the first! Yeehaw!

verrrryyyy interesting this z... pin her down, G!

jess said...

is it really talk like a pirate day? I need to know.

Georgia said...

Jess, did you get my email?

jess said...

Georgia said...

Do you know who Z is Julie?

Anonymous said...

It was announced on the radio this morning that it's "Talk Like a Pirate Day." How dare you call me a liar. Are you a Christian?

Check it out for yourself online. Just type in "talklikeapirate.com" or do a search.

I don't know if I'll ever be back in here. Liar? Hmmph! (shakes dust off shoes & leaves.)

Josh said...

Wow, you all have been busy here today! Awesome news Jessica on no contractions for 3 days and hitting 20 weeks. You're going all the way!!!

Eating lunch now (PB&J, pear halves, banana yogurt, and an orange). The marriage & family conference we went to Sat. was good. In the afternoon we bought tickets for a TobyMac, with Tait & Kevin Max as guest, concert Sept. 24. That should be a good one! If you could wear out CDs, our TobyMac "Welcome to Diverse City" CD would be wasted. Church was good and anointed Sunday morning, and we had dinner at a nice seafood restaurant last night. I also studied 2 hrs. Sat. and 3 hrs. Sun. for a Human Resources certification exam I'm taking Dec. 10th. It's a very hard 225 question test over 1,200 pages of learning material. It will be good for my career in HR since most upper HR jobs these days prefer someone with this cert.

Josh said...

Yo (z),
I was just about to post and support that today is REALLY "talk like a pirate day", I just looked it up, you're no liar. Sorry a none researchers called you that! You don't have to leave, I'll talk to you.

Georgia said...

Ill talk to you too. Except when are you going to answer my question?

BethC said...

spell Z's name backwards and you get ztarb.....

BethC said...

Bratz with a "z" -- not the best spelling lesson.

Georgia said...

What is a none researcher?

jess said...

easy, julie, easy...
i don't mind the ocassional anonimi ... variety is the spice of life....

now z, what SIZE shoes are you shaking off?

Josh said...

Good to see you still have some spunk there Julie = )
Yeah, I did just say that last week, before looking it up, you're right.

Z has answered questions straight. Such as when I asked him/her which of us they've physical talked to. They said Richy, Jessica, Daniel, and NOT me.

jess said...

and I first heard of talk like a pirate day last year... a well needed holiday if I say so myself, ye scurvy landlubbers

Georgia said...

Yall gots stocks?

Josh said...

Daniel- We're talking about pirates, not dogs...

Though the original series left prime time in September 1963, it has remained a regular in reruns ever since.
name that show

BethC said...

ding ding ding ding...you win!!!

Josh said...

Pretty good market outlook Rob. Of course, you never know what will actually happen, but you have some good assumption that would be enough to make some moves on.

BethC said...

as far as the stock market...just like in real life and living for god....stay for the long run...ride out the difficulties...wait for the rebound or stay in safer investments...

BethC said...

scholarly beauty....i receive it

Little Ricky Learns
to Play the Drums
Lucy suddenly decides her son is going to be a doctor, but Ricky wants him to be a band leader like himself. They agree to resolve the question by giving him a toy doctor's uniform and a drum and seeing which he prefers. The fact that the boy chooses the drum changes nothing as far as Lucy is concerned. (
Historical note: Before taking on the acting role of Little Ricky, Keith Thibodeaux was known as "The World's Tiniest Professional Drummer.")
First aired October 8, 1956.

BethC said...

so quiet...they pay people to do this...best kept sub teacher secret...take the highest restrictive environment...many rules and absolutely no of-task behaviors allowed...it also helps that not too many had ISS today...

Josh said...

ISS was never quiet when I was in there at Travis Jr High (now Hawk Alt. school). We had this guy that was probably ready for retirement. He was hard of hearing. We got away with too much. He’d turn around and stuff would just go flying all across the room. He’d turn around just barely too late to catch anyone. ISS wasn’t much of a punishment back then. That was back in my BC days.

BethC said...

ummm, i guess the million dollar question is "why was josh in ISS?"

then, i would say sometimes ISS still has its "clueless-types" that sub/teach....but i'm a strict "conformist" when it comes to silence...ahhhh the peace and quiet...priceless

in addition, when a student really wants to get help, i'm there..

but like this one guy here today...he thought he could pull a fast one...he stole passes off my desk, i noticed, and he gave them back....
he is soooooo busted!!!!

BethC said...

less audience in here for the "actor-types"....they got it set up so they are bored to tears...
truth or consequences....
anybody want to tell what landed em in ISS
i really think many teachers really just use ISS for when they are tired of a student, and not really a serious discipline problem...
agree?
disagree?

Georgia said...

What is ISS?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Yippeeeee!

20 weeks.........

What a wonderful MONDAY!

Josh said...

I did time in ISS and RA (Reassignment School, which is a step up from ISS). My first stint in ISS was for excessive tardiness. Then I landed in ISS again for getting into a fight. Then, when I got into a fight again, with someone else, a week after getting out of ISS for the other fight, they sent me to RA for two whole weeks. I deserved it since I got into it right in the middle of science class with the guy sitting in front of me, and I stabbed him in the back with a pen 3 or 4 times. RA wasn’t like ISS, no goofing off. They had a troop of Gestapo teachers.

BethC said...

ISS is over...these guys stay until 5 pm with a coach...i'm outta here cya

Thanks for reminding me, Daniel. I did also go to ISS for skipping school. It was pretty dumb to go to school on the bus, then leave campus with a couple friends and walk to my house. They called my dad at work, and he wasn’t a happy camper when he came home to bust us. This was all in Jr. High.

Josh said...

Yeah, we all have a past… and praise God I can call it a past. I’d say I was on track to being your average rebellious young person… wasting my life for nothing… but God is full of mercy!! He can take a life given to Him and make much of it!!

Josh said...

Adios Sharon and Beth!

jess said...

i NEVER went to ISS....
never even had detention
so there

jess said...

I went to ISS for skipping school with my "christian" friends. That day, my mom found out that I had skipped school and came and got my car from my friends house without me knowing. I came down from my friends apartment and thought my car had gotten stolen! I freaked out, and then called my mom crying about our car getting stolen. She acted all worried (though she stole it) and let me feeeeel the grieve for at least an hour or so. That was the coolest thing my mom ever did - Richy

Josh said...

Hey Julie,

I forgive you! Thanks for saying all that, I was sad to see the conversation turn sour earlier too. Sorry to hear you’re having a bad day, and I hope you have a peaceful evening.

That was really cute hearing about Garrett talking a lot to you. Made me think about the future and listening to a little guy or girl telling me about their day when I get home from work. That will be fun.

Georgia said...

I forgive you Julie, You can keep posting, we will not put you in IBS, In blog suspension.

Sometimes being pregnant makes you do things you wouldnt normally do.

I still love you

Georgia said...

As for mine and Beth's past. We used to discuss the past a lot right after we got saved. Then one day we were talking about it and we just wanted to puke. So from then on we decided to never discuss it again.
So we have no past
We were always angels,
You believe that I have a bridge to sell you in New Orleans.

Josh said...

Nor will we make you have IBS- Irritable Bowl Syndrome.

(Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

That's the larger class of what put me in the hospital.

Anonymous said...

Jess, so good to get this report. You are going all the way! love, John and Pat

Georgia said...

Dont worry Pat, everybody repeats the comment the first time. It takes a little getting used to

Georgia said...

Josh, you said it was irritable bowl syndrome. Is that when your cheerios bowl gets up and walks over to you and slaps your face?

jess said...

welcome, pat! you'll fit in great around here...

Georgia said...

richy, why do you have a picture of Rob?

Josh said...

Yes, yes Georgia, that's exactly what it is. Those Cheerios can be testy.

Georgia said...

Happened to me once, Wow... man....

Josh said...
This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
Josh said...

Yeah, it's pretty astonishing to be tired and eating them Cheerios... minding your own business.. then POW some big O pops you one. Try explaining that one to the boss for why you were late!

Georgia- Shannon can't remember what you look like, she was intro'd to a zillion people in TX. Do you have a real pic you can post, besides that hamburger?

Georgia said...

Dang, didnt think the hamburger was going to fool anyone anyway.

Will try to find one. She didnt see me much so it might be hard for her to remember.

Georgia said...

Ok here is the whole family. I dont know if you can see me that well, Ill try to find another one.

Josh said...

That's a good one. She remembers you now. Thanks.

Georgia said...

Here is a good one. Eventually I will have to fix my hair like Lassie, but for now, Shannon may be able to recognize this one.
