Terri,
Check out the Graff Gazette this morning. Would I make a good reporter?
Whatever happened to Jakit? I haven't seen him in quite awhile.
How about award for:
who is the most pregnant..
hee hee
Hmmm, how about.. I don't know?..
who can make a sentence that includes all the letters of the alphabet..
who is the best at puns..
(ahem.. said under breath.. 'Josh!')
nothing else coming to mind
I’ll have to think of some categories, for now a bit of good news. The business line will be installed at our place in the next couple hours, and I start working from home on Monday! Very cool, very cool indeed!
Back to work for now.
hey that appears to be the same baby!
I just put a new post on my blog.. it includes 2 more ultrasound pictures, for those who didn't see them in the e-mail that we sent out recently.
They're really cute.. one with his hand in front of his face & holding his elbow.. & one directly toward his face (healthy, chubby cheek included!)
i think we should have bloggies for
clatterfinger
most encouraging
best picture
most faithful
funniest
and perhaps
most enjoyable all around
how about most likely to let one kid turn into a raisin while feeding another kid every 30 minutes and trying to stuff and mail a newsletter out before 1 and blogging during diaper changes....
I know who I'm voting for!
maybe we should have one for best sigle faithful daily provider of posts to comment on on this particular blog; you'd be a shoe-in
8)
i think i hear an echo; it's getting very quiet in here.....
sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
How about one for the Chief of Bums. I won’t say who I’m voting for, since we’re not supposed to nominate, but his name rhymes with Spaniel.
What were all the categories that were mentioned a couple weeks ago when we were talking about it?
Danyul- My category was for the CHIEF of Bums, not the state with the most. This is your opportunity to have a landslide victory!
Terri,
I saw your blog and it was very good reporting, now if we can just get the others to do the same. I think it would be fun.
Jess,
Sorry about the private conversation with Terri. I started a news report on our family blog. I remember when you used to pretend to be a newsreporter when you were younger. I think it would be fun if you took one day and everyone blogged in newsreporter fashion. See how creative everyone can be.
we just did our first family photo shoot... with Debi
everybody cooperated for the first roll... but toby melted down and had to eat 3 times during the second
actually, it was just the guys... no mommy in this shoot
"a classroom of one"
i read this book at the library
Internet classes are abundantly available
Go For It!!!!
katwoman,
i think it would definitely be hard; anything worth doing is...but if you want to do it, go for it!.....you can do hard stuff......8)
how about Most Batlike?
just a thought.
back in black bat
my prof called my degree plan the "decade plan"
as I have heard quoted
"you will still be the same age when you graduate as you will be if you never start..."
brrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnggggg
school's out for the weekend....
Hey Jessica,
I forgot to mention yesterday..
that's awesome Toby had his first real smile! That sounds fun 'chewing' on a baby's face. : )
s9- I got it... fear not, I speak humor...
it took me 5 years to get the 2.5 year Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) degree.....but, I went part- time and worked part-time odd jobs...(tutoring, secretarial, elementary music teacher at private school, data entry for a tombstone company!, aviary janitor and 1,000+ finch care-giver once weekly, and 3 days as a newpaper delivery-person) plus took care of 3 kids and helped in their school/helped John with choir/musicals/p&w/fine arts/drama/etc and it actually went by very very quickly... (the 5 years)... and an ADN RN can do all a BSN RN can do except hospitals are trying to have all managers in acute care facilities have the BSN now... (Bachelors of Science in Nursing)...
Anyone can do anything they set their mind to... with God' grace and strength of course...
Go Servant - to the nations!!! and beyond!!!
I think we should have a day where everyone is limited to try to express their thoughts in as few words as possible...... i wonder how THAT would come off.....
that might be interesting...
I'm not too good at being succinct.
So, I'd have to stay OFF the blog that day...
:-)
Whereever does sivad live that at 10:30 this morning she was singing Mr. Rogers' song? It seemed like a rainy day all day to me...whenever I looked outside....
I love this cold weather, though. I love rain too...... misty, foggy, bone-clattering, tooth chattering coldness...... yep..... I was borned in December, caint cha tell???
Shannon and Josh -
When we come to Seattle, we'll have to make arrangements to come see you and your little one. Maybe we can meet for dinner one evening.
Josh, ask around about nice cottages or bed/breakfasts with reasonable prices. We've found two that we are very interested in, but are waiting to make reservations for a few more days until we are sure...
Hey mere pete! Glad to see you there!
jess - did you get a pic with 3 guys? or just the 2 boys?
bloggie award... i think Georgia should be involved since she's so creative...
Ok - papa jc brought pizza home, so i'll go enjoy myself and him and it.....
happy weekend!
stay warm
stay cool
stay mild
stay wild
sivad - i heard through an email from Lindsey from nicole that there was a miraculous outcome to little Brooke Bender's accident...... can i post the letter here? from her aunt...that tells the miracle?
I want to start by THANKING A OUR FAITHFUL, LOVING, GRACIOUS, HEAVENLY FATHER. I also want to thank the numerous people that prayed for our family last night. My aunt who went with me to the hospital wrote below what happened to Brooke last night. After being life- flighted to Memorial Herman hospital last night, Brooke is now at home with me today playing and running through the house.....just 18 hours after looking lifeless and deformed after falling on her head. We serve a miracle working GOD.
Thanks you for your Prayers,
Troy, Nicole, Makaila, Ethan and Brooke.
Please forward this to anyone else you know that was praying last night. I am grateful today for the Body of Christ that in times like this stand together in FAITH.

This is a REAL -- TODAY -- MIRACLE!
Here's what happened:
On Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at approximately 6 p.m. my niece's daughter, 18 month old Brook , fell and hit her head on the tile floor. She immediately appeared to be deformed and paralyzed on at least one side of her body. Nicole and Troy (Mom & Dad) immediately began to call the name of Jesus, than 911, their church, family and friends to pray.
By the time paramedics arrived, Brook had started crying, which they said was a good sign. They started in ambulance for the hospital (less than 5 miles away) with Baby and Mom. Dad was following in the car. Within two miles of leaving the house. all of a sudden, Brook went limp, eyes rolled back -- ambulance people were calling for life-flight -- made Mom leave the ambulance as they worked on Brook. Within minutes, Brook was being life-flighted to Herman Memorial. Seperated from their baby, Mom and Dad were told to drive safely and don't speed --Brook would have experienced paramedics as she was transported in the helicopter.
Now the rest of the story:
As Mom, Dad, Mimi and Aunt begain the 45-minute drive to the hospital, many believers were praying with us for a miracle. We were speaking life to Brook and rehearsing promises from Word of God. We would pray awhile, sing awhile, call miracles, speak life and not death, health, healing, wholeness -- no side effects or problems. We were believing to receive our child well when we arrived. The Word of God is alive and powerful --
When Mom and Dad went into the emergency room there was Brook, sitting up in the bed, playing with her baby doll. The doctors had examined her, ran xrays and were doing a cat scan. Everything said there was NO damage -- NO problem! PTL. When questioned the doctors said well --this could happen -- that could happen -- but there isn't anything to indicate a problem. We believe we received our MIRACLE by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony! Praise be to our Master, Jesus!
We are so thankful for the power of prayer and the awesome miracle working power of our Jehovah Jirah! Thank you for standing in prayer and believing with us!
Blessings,
P.S.
God is so so cool!
Praise GOD!
hi all
i don't know if 1:40 makes me lsat or frist
either way....i love reading the blogs; it makes me feel connected even if i read what you wrote this morning when it's now the middle of the night.
i love you guys a bunch!
8)
Hopefully I will see you all THERE!
:0)
Hey peeps, I am sitting at Aveda institute. Patiently playing on the computer while we wait for our appts.
I gave Krystal to Jan since it is still officially her birthday month.
Kyrstal is the greatest student here.
She will be graduating in May so anyone want to take advantage of her while she is still a student, now is the time.
I be lookin good while I be lisnin to Lucinda....
slow on saturdees......
i see everyone's at Lucinda's workshop...that's good....very good.......... 8)
i did not go....... been home recooperatin from week of work and etc etc etc.....
still in jammies..... and john's robe and warm sockies...
doin' laundry cause somebody has to do it...
Pam I totally understand/
I didn't get to go to church either.
Students take a little too long doin hair, but the price is right!
terri, too cold to go out tonight.....stay home and snuggle up......eat pb and crackers.....
:-)
i made lamb stew.....
never made lamb before......
don't know if i will again...
just had to try it...
kept reminding me of the passover lamb and what the jewish children of old had to go through......
they raised the little lamb from when it was born...and became attached to it.....then, when time came for feast they had to watch the sacrifice...
mmmm... lamb is good
my sister's first grandbaby was born this past month.....and they will dedicate him to God tomorrow at their church in Houston..... my sister really wants us to all be there..... so, I'll go.....and take my grandmother........ she hates crowds...so she and I and the other little lady I call my great "aunt" will leave after church is over down there and have our meal together on 59 on our way back...since Nannaw hates to go out to eat with crowds.....makes her very nervous...... to tell the truth, i dread going out to eat with big crowds too... i think it has something to do with noise and crowds...... i prefer quiet conversations where everyone can be heard and talk back and forth...... when you have to hollar across the tables.....the expense of eating out is not worth it to me...... i prefer relationships to the 'crowd effect'.....
here i am babbling......again...... must go change the laundry again.....
back later.....
Lamb chops sound good. So does lamb stew...on a day like today.
Terri, did they record Lucinda?
jess how does YOUR hair look? you and granny will be stylin' tomorrow..... you goin to church with yore man outta place?
sportin a new doo?
my hair is longer than it's been since 1992-93!!!!!!!

even though i lived in New Mexico at the time.......
papa jc is working at his second job..... i wish tax season was over NOW!

DID SHE WHACK IT OFF???

My hair IS also several different colors and I have a bed head "DU"
Did you get a family shot>?
I would really like a shot of all four of you.
I can't wait to see the pictures.
When will DEBI have them ready?
once again so many questions.....
GEEZ
Lindseyannalou Crouse
I am not in any pictures... up until today I have been avoiding cameras due to BAD hair
I don't know when they will be ready
The girls at the AVEDA are so young and sweet and they really are doing what they know to do.
I left there with my hair sticking up and what I thought was messy.
They all were very impressed with how it ended up, but I was in a hurry for a hair brush.
I even thought, man Jess and Steph would probly like this too.
I just couldn't even wait to get out of the parking lot before I was running a brush through it.
I did not tell Krystal or the other girls because I did not want to hurt their feelings and they were all so proud of how it ended up.
Gee Whiz..........Am I old or WHAT!
There was so much product in my hair and I am just an old hippy.
I do not like anything in my hair.
Part it down the middle and go.
The cut is really cute, but I wont be doing the bed head thing unless Jess or Steph want to come over and do it for me.
I don't have a clue, I admit it.
But even if I do wash it and comb it and part it down the middle and go, it is still adorable.
I love it.
I am sure that all of my new colors are nothing compaired to yours Jess.
I have no hot pink or green or florescent anything.
Just good ol highlights and lo lights.
:0)
WELL, if you'd keep your tongue in yore mouth, you'd look a little better in pictures...... it is time the hair got done, though...you were beginnnig to look like an old man......
Jessica, are you sticking your tongue out at the camera?
I think you look quite feminine.
Hmm
of course, i was speaking to jess..... or is she einstein???
can't wait to see both of ya'll's hair(s)
mine is same ole same ole.....
linds is busy......
i yam busy.....
hair stays same..... or gets longer and weirder.....but, she says we're going for a longer look... ?!?
Hey I am a beauty school drop out.
I JUST GOT IT!
Not only an old Hippy,
but a SLOW old HIPPY
Just like I said Pam, I am a little slow today.
maybe I'LL have to go to aveda to get a cut...
i like crazy sticking out hairdo's.....
makes me feel younger and more myself...
this hairdo i have now makes me feel tired.....
but, sometimes i like seeing it a bit lnoger.....
Hey Graceson was born@5:55p
You might be able to do walk ins any time. Not sure, but if you want to request someone special it might take making an oppointment.
Why would you need to go to Aveda?
You live at AVEDA..
Lindsey will do your hair any time.
papa jc and i bit the bullet today and got our plane tickets to seattle washington for our 25th anniversary.....end of May!
Big step. We've never done anything like this before......
he's a bit nervous that we're committing so early for something that far away..... but i told him to think of it as committing to our marriage. we had to plan early for that...and weren't worried that something would come up. this is that important i feel. we SHALL celebrate the SILVER anniversary - TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF WEDDED BLISS AND HARDSHIPS CONQUERED... we will spend one whole week away and together......never done this before.......
upstairs
How romantic, You will have a blast.
Maybe you can go see Josharooni and Shannon.
My Bro was born in Tacoma.
linds and i are not on the same track...... she's gone when i'm home...and my new job has me going to bed early.....
i'm not truly complaining... if i really wanted a hair cut......she'd make a way..... but right now, it's just not convenient for either one of us...
(i have already paid her for 2 cuts, though..... :-) still a-waitin'.... but know she's got other things on her mind....
