"What your baby's up to
Your baby continues to grow rapidly. His bones are continuing the ossification (hardening) process and the pads of the fingers and toes are formed. He even has his own set of fingerprints developing as well. Your baby is approximately 5.5 inches and weighs about 200 grams (7.5 ounces).
Your baby can kick, swallow, and sleep. He also is developing his stomach, intestine and colon and the intestines collect meconium (the initial stool a baby will pass after birth. If the baby is a boy, the prostate will begin to develop this week as well. The skin is still a bit pink and transparent and his ears still stick out from his head. The four-chambered heart begins to build up muscle cells and is pumping between 25 and 30 quarts of blood per day."
* Feeling pretty good... no real contractions for a day or two... and my leg has finally quit hurting from my shot. I'm getting pretty hungry but have yet to motivate the chef to action.
He made spaghetti yesterday, his first solo meal that didn't come in a box. Of course it was very good!
Happy Birthday Bobby! And Tim!

jeg elsker dig
R2 has had some neurological firings today. This morning he woke up and walked into the living room and said, "Every morning I wake up and walk in here." Then later as I was preparing some hot tea, he looked up at me and said, "is that candy?"
Wow. I think this kid is getting ready for some edumacation. (Education)

O my gosh! He is changing so much. He is so smart. I am so excited. I canøt wait to come by and hear him say
" yaaa its Bedste!"
Im so proud of you Richy. You have made your first solo meal! Who knows maybe your will develop a knack and cook something great for us.
R2 cracks me up. I know how he feels I think I say that everyday.
Im soooo excited to hear of his responsiveness.
He is just doing so good!

Bedste is now in the States. Yippee
20 plus hours of traveling. Got up at 5am in Denmark and landed at 2:30 am Danish time in Utah. By the time we made it to Nannas we had both been up 24 hours.
So I slept 4 hours and now my body thinks it should be about 9 am in Danmark and I am wide awake. It is 2:30 am Utah time.
I am just going to go with it.....
Jessica, Bedste and Evajoy don't work so maybe when you can go back and check out the viking situation again and email me.
Hey Richy, I am so so proud of you.
You have had so much spaghetti in your life that I bet it was fantastic.
Robert is the first one I have seen with a mustache in like forever. He looks so good and handsome and he even has a more hair on top now!
Hey wassup with Chuck? Anyone seen him or Julie or the babies lately?
I can now understand fluent Danish.
I speak a little bit more than I did, but not much.
It was a wonderful exausting trip home.
Some man named Michael wanted me to sit with him on the airplane from France to Cincinatti. Good grief.......I was so embarressed.
I kept telling him that I was traveling with my mother, no thanks.
Right before we were all going through customs in Cincinatti, he mouthed "I need your phone number" and made a motion with his hand for me to write it on some paper.
I mouthed back to him....."it was nice to meet you too" so that he would think I misuderstood him.
I was so embarressed. I didn't know what to do. It was weird.
After we got away from him and we were on the American Citizen side, I whispered to my mother,
"If you hear me say that I already have a boyfriend, just go along with it"
She answers me extremely loudly with
"What! You have a boyfriend! When did this happen? I didn't know that!"
I told her, "Mother if I mention it later DON'T do exactly that!"
O my gosh, it was so funny.
I saw him from a distance when we were getting our baggage and I stayed as far away as possible.
It was a full flight from a 777 so it wasn't that difficult.
Hey I would like to deliver some goodies.........and see you.
Friday late morning?
