I went to church yesterday. It was the first time in a looong time that
I've been there and not been a little freaked out the whole time about
going into labor. It was so cool walking in with a carseat just like a
normal mommy....
Now I am adjusting to needing to seek God again.... I feel like I've
been carried all these months and now that grace is lifting a little.
Funny how it can be harder to do in the good times. When I'm just
hanging on for dear life, I find Him so close. Now I need to work a
little.

Just a little Monday morning introspection. See ya in a few.

Jess,
I think that if a person says they are first rather than frist then their frist prize should go to the next person.

Hey Georgia,

I am not going to be on the blog anymore during the day.

:(

But I will be checking it in the evenings.

Love ya'll

Hey I saw you at Church yesterday but you were dodging me...

and hiding in the back ground.

I bet you were up in the Nursery huh?

:0)
Please pray for direction and that my mind would be a sponge and absorb all the new information and delete all the crapola.

PEACE

Beth, I got the part about the tree being God wanting to give me the desires of my heart. I think you were absolutely right about that. What I wondered was why it never got up.

Georgia said...

When you get what you want, you must be willing to do the work to keep it....

Or it will just disappear with the garbage truck.

A wise urban woman once wrote this.

BethC said...

not puting the tree up was LACK of time....but more so as I have noticed it is most satisfying to see a desire fulfilled than the actual item/event itself.

BethC said...

ah yes good point G
like what jd said bout Denise's message...appreciate it and such

vg
we had 2 solid days of shopping and eating...Galveston was a bit cloudy&chilly but it was still great.
then we got home and the carpet was like so totally unpleasant so we went for it....and tht was an awesome surprise for our anniversary.
PLUS you are going to be great at your new position. God is good…What a blessing!

Georgia said...

Yeah Jenna! Come bless us with your little smiling face!

Georgia said...

Yes, Vg I did head straight upstairs to the nursery. I remember later saying to myself. Hey, I saw Eva, and then I felt bad that I didnt say anything. Sort of like a replay of a video or something.

Georgia said...

Toby smiled at me.

Georgia said...

But who knows if it was me he was smiling at. He didnt open his eyes.

Georgia said...

You know what I dont think is fair? Is when the doctors and experts say that when a baby smiles it is gas or something. How do they know anyway?

Georgia said...

I think he smiled at me cause he wanted to. Not gas.

Josh said...

I smile whenever I have gas. . . but others usually cry.

Georgia said...

My pancakes were making me hungry.

Georgia said...

Josh, I just dont think its the same.

BethC said...

Andy and I are still on vacation "at home" for 2 more days, restin & chillin.
I may sub tomorrow though....

Georgia said...

Ah, but Terri, you are the famous writer who penned the phrase "the power of farts" That one will go on in blog history.

Georgia said...

I am starting again also. I started with water aerobics this morning. I had pancakes in centerville on saturday.Really good ones.

Georgia said...

There you go. Terri is nominated for the best phrase " power of farts"

Georgia said...

I believe the actual phrase included "manipulate with the power of farts" Which is even better.

Georgia said...

That one should be requoted for accuracy. Does anyone know what was the actual sentence?

Josh said...

And good morning to all. Sorry I derailed the conversation.

That would’ve been neat to have little Toby smile at you, Georgia. On Saturday, I said to Shannon, “I want our ultrasound to be this Wednesday, not the next one!” I’m really getting excited about seeing our baby.

Wow JD- another little baby in just a week. That’s really exciting.

Georgia said...

Thank you, Josh, yes, it was beautiful. One of those moments in life that are really precious. I know you are looking forward to those days. You will love all those years you have coming up.

Georgia said...

Terri,
You have forced my hand.

Josh said...

Oh boy, two of the ladies I work with are sniffling. I haven’t been taking my Echinacea as much as I should the last week, just went to the vending machine and slurped down 15.2 ounces of OJ.

Georgia said...

Ah-ha!
Caught her again;

Took awhile but here it is;

daniel and rob: i think you guys got your days mixed up! yesterday was "guys day" so that's when you should've been posting about manipulation and getting your way through the power of farts.. today is "womens day"... but, in light of the joy over tobias birthday, we'll let ya'll loose to "gas" on each other all you want!

Georgia said...

15.2 ounces? What is the .2 about?

Josh said...

Hey, I don’t know. I don’t make the bottles, I just drink out of them!

Georgia said...

Ah do declahha we must have some kind of deception afoot.

Georgia said...

Kind of strange way to bottle things dont you think?

jess said...

nice work, G... I was just about to look it up.
I got breakfast in bed today!
Just now because I just woke up.

Georgia said...

Have to go again. See you bloggers later.

jess said...

Georgia said...

Californian! Pick YOUR own rose!

Georgia said...

I got such a good laugh out of that one. One of those feel like you are the only one laughing laughs.

Bye guys
I will change it later, Terri. Still love you.

jess said...

yikes... the state origins are coming up

jess said...

It was sausage and eggs.... high protein

Josh said...

Sausage and eggs, yum yum yummy!

BethC said...

what's this mess about CA environmental laws banning fireplaces in some counties? maybe that's why they move to TX

BethC said...

I mean geeezzz, what if I want/need to to pioneer cook those beans

BethC said...

someone needs to redesign the antiquated design of the fireplace anywho...heat usually goes up & out the chimney.
The best I've heard of are the ones that have the heat redirectors on each side that cpature the heat and radiate in a controlable vent.
Josh, what is the story on fireplaces in WA?

Georgia said...

Got a hamburger from whataburger.

Georgia said...

Yall have seen this question on yall's profiles?

This is a colon : and this is a semi-colon ; - what's a semi-truck?

I have the answer.
A semi-truck is what you order at a coffee diner when you dont want to drink the whole truck.

Georgia said...

I dont mind at all, Terri, your cardinal can sit on my rose as long as you like.

Georgia said...

Who wants to comment on what it means to live above reproach?

Georgia said...

Yeah, I have a great hamburger, need to find it.

Georgia said...

Does anybody know what audio-blogging is?

jess said...

yo yo
livin above reproach means living in the upstairs apartment above Repo Roach

jess said...

I have great food here thanks to Pam and Sandy.... yaaaaayyyy

Georgia said...

Hey, then I got the upstairs apt. I dont know who lives downstairs though.

Georgia said...

Where is katwoman today?

Georgia said...

I remember it being cold. I remember lots of snow and big coats like I have never seen in this part of the country.

Georgia said...

Missed Mama. She is just too fast for me to keep up with.

Georgia said...

Terri,
steal this one.

Georgia said...

Katwoman come in...
Beam up Katwoman scotty...

Georgia said...

I am glad you are back that was fast. Did she just come in and look at your sewing table and say never mind and run back to Porter?

jess said...

hey mama
what's shakin?
UPSTAIRS

Georgia said...

I remember Raton Pass. That was pretty scary. It seems like we went up it with your foot to the floor and still only going 5 miles and hour carrying twins in the back in a playpen and various other hippy things in a carpeted van.

Georgia said...

Hey, I thought that one dollar wendys burger and a salad and water was ok.

Georgia said...

No, mama there still is no upstairs. I think we are in a dome, or cathedral, or willie nelson's huge ranch style house in Austin.

Georgia said...

I just had 2 justaburgers. Some people Do know.

jess said...

ok there should be one now.

Georgia said...

Mama
Tula, you are looking so.... OLD!

Georgia said...

Throw in a shake there and a big piece of burger king cheesecake.
IF you are going to do it you might as well do it right.

Georgia said...

There is no upstairs. We are doomed to be here forever. Jess lied. She is laughing right now. Her and Toby and R2 are just yukking it up at us.

Georgia said...

I am over there Mom,

Lets go Lucy!
