We went out last night... all 4 of us.
We saw Glory Road... we sat way up high with the annoying teenagers
because there were more empty seats around....
I saw Terri there with her main squeeze.
It was a good movie... nothing wrong with it. I just wanted it to be
more moving.... the previews are awesome and I thought it would be more
Remember the Titans-ish... but I didn't connect with it the same way.
Still, it was clean and a good story. So there you go.
Toby slept hard through the whole movie. There are good things about
spending your early days in the NICU, where alarms are always beeping
and the lights stay on... both of my children could sleep through
anything.
R2 loved the movie... he loves every "big movie". He is always very
excited about going and then he has a great attention span through the
whole thing.

In answer to Beth's trivia question, Monday is Mama's birthday. She
will be as old as her tongue and a little older than her teeth. So give
her a shout-out Monday. And cash is good, too.

Jess,
Did you ever find out how there is a fourth dimension on those ultrasounds?
Katwoman thought maybe that the 4th D was the internal organs of the baby, is that it?

I thought your blood comments were really interesting... you didn't need to delete them!

pam, what is the whole story on blood types from your vast experience...the blog-abbreviated version...like + and - (Rh factor) and compatible versus not and the dietary distinctions...i know....i'm just like that....

Beth - Blood types is a subject I'd like to know more about......

I've always wondered WHY... it seems like it must be more than just like people are born blonde or brunette..... the blood seems too important.... I just wonder what the significance is in the whole scheme of God's creation......yknow?

I have negative blood...... both my parents had negative blood......

My mom's mom had negative, but Paw was positive. Their first daughter was positive, my mom was negative, then their next two children died shortly after birth because at that time (in the 1940's) there was no knowledge that the negative mom's blood built up antibodies against positive blood in their + babies. How sad.

My dad had negative blood... we aren't sure of his parents' blood types but they had 10 children and my dad's was negative, so what type of blood do you think his parents carried? Neg or positive?

Trivia question for tonight...

Mama PC said...

All my kids have positive blood types...

Beth, as far as the types A, B, AB, O, etc.... that is still a mystery to me and I'd be fascinated to learn more. I've heard of the diet where blood types are used but I'm not so sure about the significance of it.

Anybody else know anything else about it?

Mama PC,

The diet for blood types is very true. Type A blood is more acidic than the other types, therefore, gastric reflux is more predominant in Type A blood. I have type O blood, and Steve has Type A blood. I do not know the blood types of my children, but I could guess pretty good.

Christopher has Type A blood and has dealt with reflux.

Abigail has Type A blood and has dealt with reflux

Both of the above have also had earaches, tubes, allergy problems, and weaker digestive systems.

Gabriela has Type O blood and has been as healthy as a horse.

Also Type A blood has a weaker immunity system; and therefore, unless supplements or good diet is added, they tend to get sicker easier and have more allergies.

Type O blood has a very strong immunity system, and in fact, sometimes it is so strong that it fights against itself and causes other problems.

With Christopher having had so many problems as a toddler, I did alot of research on how foods affect the body.

Because none of my family has Type AB, I do not remember a whole lot about it, but I'm sure you could get the book at the library. I believe it is called "Eating According to your Blood Type" or something like that.

I don't like the diet, because alot of the foods I like are not permited on the diet.

now that's what i'm talkin bout..excellent read on the blood types.
one little tidbit is that Rh factor seems to be named after Rhesus monkeys b/c they did the study for + - on em
I did read that O types are compatible with A's and B's.
the + and - bloodthing has me wondering.

one thing for sure: drink mo H20 and get mo zzzzzzz's works for me
