Happy Valentines Day
Well here it is! I was going to fast chocolate for a couple days to see if it affects Toby.... but Julie bought me Godiva! I'll have to start my break on Thursday or somehing...
Last night Tobes slept in his bassinet for 2 stretches... I just have to knock him out with feedings first....
great church service last night.... very accurate prophetic words, it seemed like. And Toby may have some rocker in him after all.. slept right through worship.
It was pretty neat hanging out with my sister Leah and her baby... both of us having small babies and just sharing that experience... don't know why but last night just was cool... like a new dimension to our relationship...
Have a good V Day everybody! Eat some chocolate! Buy some flowers! Or maybe a Venus Flytrap!

Terri,
Your small pic is not as clear as it blown up. It looks like one worried heart with another heart smiling at it. I looked at the full view and was glad to see that they are both smiling.
How are you doing Terri? My daughter asked if she gets off school today because it is a holiday. Gage already let me know that he has to do regular school today, what a boring grandma.
Happy Valentines Day Ladies,
We woke up to about 3 inches of snow on the ground this morning. Three inches in enough for it to be really pretty, since it stuck all on the trees branches and roofs, but not enough for it to be inhibiting. I-5 was clear, and Seattle doesn’t have any snow on the ground (we live 30 miles north). So, we got a pretty Valentines Day at our house.
Yo JD,
How you doing? How’s your brothers stay been?
KW- Yes, the same I-5 goes all the way to Canada. We didn’t play in the snow. It was 4:15 AM when I got up and noticed. I usually get up at 4:45, but thought I should get ready ASAP and get a jump on the traffic in case it would be bad. It wasn’t bad at all, actually one of my fastest morning commutes.
JD- Glad to hear your brother’s homeness has been good. Give him a holler for me. Too bad his clothes are getting tight, it’s all that home cooking. Raina e-mailed us some pics of Andrew in the military. I couldn’t believe how skinny he is, I was totally amazed. Have you seen them?
Thanks for the congrat on the u/s. Yes, he looks very adorable and the more and more he’s moving and the closer we get, it’s very exciting and emotional (in a good way)! It’ll be great!
Oh how I didn’t want to leave my hot shower this morning, it felt so good!
Hey Terri,
Thanks, Happy Valentines Day to you and your family too! No, not from home yet, it’s bragged out. I’m supposed to be called by Verizon today or tomorrow to schedule the business line install. Once that’s done I’m good to go. We bought a new desk and phone for me and I got that set-up over the weekend, so now it’s just the phone line. So, hopefully you can ask me next week and I can tell you how I like it.
oh crystal that smile is ADORABLE
Good word servant#9709486023987409321704593278!
I too agree that we shouldn’t need a holiday to tell us when to love each other, and I too make it my aim to love my wife all the time. I think the fact that we do have a holiday for it shows the deep longing in all of us for love. For those of us who know God, love should become more and more natural and more and more a part of daily life as we mature in Christ. I do think it’s fun to have a special day to recognize love and the place that the one you love has in your life.
Yes, reminders are always good!
And the Pun of the Day, which has nadda to do with V Day:
The soundtrack for the killer whale movie was very well orcastrated.
Servant #...
very entertaining things, thanks!!
Wow! I'm back on-line.. 2 wks w/o being able to. Our internet issues are gone.
Our little boy is growing.. about 3.5 lbs right now.
We are still deciding on his name.
We've started our childbirth classes.. very good so far.
Many names have been suggested on the blog. The most popular seems to be Jehu Hawkins, but Daniel “The Bum” Mathews really has dibs on it. Feel free to make your suggestions.
Solid, hmmm. . . I think that is subject to the ones interpretation of the word solid.
These are true facts from a recent survey published in the Washington Post:
-- Married Americans are happier than single folks by a 2 to 1 ratio.
-- Dog and cat owners are equally happy.
-- Evangelical Protestants have more pep in their step than Catholics by a margin of 43% to 38%.
-- Whites are happier than Hispanics, who are happier than African Americans (36% versus 34% versus 28%).
-- Southerners are happier than Northerners. Country folk are happier than city folk.
-- Old codgers are happier than the young.
-- And finally, Americans are happier than Europeans.
So, don't worry. Be happy.
(I have a couple meetings that may take the next hour, then time to leave. Not sure if I’ll be back on.)
Maybe the pep meter measures a combo of the height of the step & the speed at which the heel comes off of the ground.. : ) possibly also if it lacks any evidence of indecisiveness in the direction headed.. a very deep scientific tool.
'hey, little gland, my cute little gland, wow ya doin' buddy?!'
Yep, just being silly. : D
I had typo in mine:
*how ya* not *wow ya*
