Your complimentary weekend blog

For the discerning blogger
This blog has been handcrafted from the luxurious piney forests of Midway. It is brewed within a alabaster forehead until ripe, then typed with the greatest of care.
Brought to you at the earliest opportunity, this blog has taken precedence over substenance or sanitation. It is crafted and spun through the cries of the very young, and during their repast.
Enjoy it, savor it... one of a kind.

good morning...

believe with me that i can help weave together whatever message the LORD wants to have shared for our upcoming TRIBE presentation on April 16... the songs have been selected, Papa JC and Hannah Bee are working on them with players (with VOICES rehearsal today at 1)

i have a "feeling for what is supposed to be shared" but need to pin it down on paper and get the whole thing organized...

the main message i feel God wants OUT THERE on that Sunday has to do with...

HIS SERVANTHOOD...
How He has Redeemed us by Ransoming us...Buying us...Paying for our sins...
How He laid down His life...
and how that we are to do the same...

Pray with me about this...

daniel, jeremiah is excited about your worm farm.... he wants to know if he can have some worms for his pet turtle that's here in our den...... it's a sad lonely turtle he found in the woods by the Shluters..... it's now in a rectangular aquarium...... and looks pathetic to me..... i'm gonna let him out sometime soon if he doesn't get a friendly worm snack.....

We wanted to get closer to GOD

Viking Granny!!!! said...

We cannot all fit in my little car, so Robert and Steph came to Conroe and we traded vehicles.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

All 5 of us took there pretty new red van and Beebow and I took turns driving.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

We rented this really cool comedy at Hastings to watch on the road.

I was driving and I can't remember what it was. Maybe Happy does.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Rob and STeph have a VHS player in their van....and big comfy seats

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Beebow sat in front to keep me awake and alert, but she speaks so softly and she is so full of wisdom, but the softness of her voice can be so soothing..

BAD thing for staying ALERT...

Beebow is a comfort.

So anyway, it took all weekend, but it was a great adventure and we all got all the way up to the top of the highest peak, and we truely did get closer to GOD!

It was an awesome weekend.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Crystal kept commenting on how great Randy is with the kids and how he usually spends all weekend tending to them anyway, and that he is such a great guy that he just lets her relax and go on these great adventures whenever she likes.

What a MAN!

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Mama 3 missed her 3 pretty bad and Beebow was really anxious to be back in the arms of her sweety pie.

And of course you all remember how sickening Happy can be missing her darlin and talking to him and about him day and night.

Such love birds.

We stopped and ate at this old mom and pop type hamburger joint.

Actually pretty dad gum good.

Not too many cars in the parking lot.......maybe cuz of the deserted highway location.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Fries were too greasy but the burger was thick and well done and lots of fixins.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Somehow, we made it back in time for This mornin service and then we picked up Sparky and we went and put all the Clarkys together and we got lots of great pictures.

Beebow and Sparky make a great team.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Beebow/Sparky photo studio, may I help you?

Or "Sparky Beebow pictures"

Yall did a great job.

After all that driving and crying and seeking and teaching and learning and climbing, you still had the energy left to shoot all those great shots.

WOW!

the best part was the top of the mountain--where we met God

and then we learned the really best part--that we really didn't have to leave Him there; if we let Him, He stays with us all the time

It all depends on how much of HIM we REALLY want....

He will give us as much as we TRUELY want of HIM>

Wasn't it awesome?

Beth said...

yes, the top of the mountain was a wonderful ENCOUNTER with the Father.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Is ALLAH another name for DADDY GOD?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

We have been doing a study on the names of GOD....I do not remember anything about ALLAH......

GOD is GOD and He knows my heart.

Mama PC said...

"ABBA" means Daddy God

Mama PC said...

VKG - Allah is the God of Islam/Muslims Their belief is that Allah is the only god....

Mama PC said...

Katie - we have Balderdash - it's one of my favorite games...

I have a meeting planned (after work) on Tuesday, or we would have you all over......

What time are you all coming to C-town?

Beth said...

sniffly clam (but still happy 8))

Viking Granny!!!! said...

So Allah is a pretend false GOD or is it just their name for our DADDY God?

Beth said...

also, for those of you lurkers mostly who might be following, i posted another entry to my biography blog. just click on my real picture at 5:14

Beth said...

i would have to say that people who believe in keeping all the religions in harmony would tell you that alla is their name for our God. but the alla they worship is false.

how's that?

Mama PC said...

I'm not an expert... but, the name Allah is not in the Bible used in reference for our God...

They do not believe Jesus was the Son of God - but just a teacher or prophet.....

Allah is a false god.....

Lord bring truth to our hearts and keep us clean and pure and protected in the Name of Jesus from any confusion or deceit. We want to be holy and to worship only YOU the one true God.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Thank you Happy!

mama, i heard saturday was great!

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Thank you PC

Hey, we were thinking about asking you to join us on our Mountain Journey, but you had to work cause you have a J.O.B.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

According to the experts on 60 minutes, about 25% of us have money and the easiest way to find out is www.unclaimed.org

Then you click on states that you or relatives have visited or lived in.

I tried it and I was unable to "go there" so I will try again.

Beth said...

one of the ladies i work with found some money that belongs to her sister; i think they're still waiting for a check

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Hey Happy, What did you think of that beautiful sunset? Wasn't that a kewl adventure? God is so awesome and HE met us exactly where we were. WE didn't need to climb to the highest peak or travel so far or any of that at all.

But it was a great trip!

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Is that where you caught your cold?

High altitudes?

Huh?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

every time I look at this little babys face I think she is saying

Huh?

Beth said...

one of my bunk mates in the "high altitudes" brought a cold with her and shared it, but i don't want it. Lord, please heal me and her.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Thank you Jahova Rapha our healer..

Beth said...

VKG,

I don't know if you will see this, but "Allah"" is the Arabic word for "God." "Allah" is just as much "God" as "Dios" is "God". The muslims are descendants of Ishmael (Abraham's other son) so they believe in the God of Abraham, but that is as far as they carry the truth of God. They have several false prophets, but yes, they only believe in one God "Allah" and it is the God of Abraham. But you have to remember that Abraham was before Moses and, therefore, before the Law and the Prophets (true prophets of God). So their God is a false God, but only because they do not believe the whole truth about God. But, no, they do not have another god.

I hoped this helps. I remember when Prince Parker came to preach. He is a missionary that has been in Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico, and now Morrocco (a very Muslim nation). He explained everything really well, but I do not remember everything he said.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Thank you Mama 3

that does help.

have you reasted up from our long journey? I bet your 3 babies were happy to see their mommy.

Food for thought!

Do Christian Arabs call God (Jehovah, Yaweh, Elohim) Allah or something else to differentiate from the Muslim conterparts

This is the best that I can do without assistance.

Copy and paste if you want a giggle

Maybe one of you youngins can tell me how to make a blue underlined link so that Jess can see it too.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Reasons why Jess is taking so long to post?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Because I am off today and waiting ever so patiently-----because I need help with posting a blue clickit place----because she might be actually downloading some recent photos for the blog so that, not only all can see, but I will be able to send them to relatives all over the world, literally.....-----or....cuz she is actually enjoying sleeping in and is oblivious to the fact that her favorite mother in law is home today----

Viking Granny!!!! said...

----or because she is feeding diapering cleaning eating and doing laundry and smoochin with her man-------or maybe she is so cold this morning that her entire family is all snuggled together in the bed and no one wants the moment to end......---or maybe she has decided to boycott the blog today............

Eva,

Josh can us the instructions once before, but you need to

Bookmark this page because you need to coppy and paste the link everytime you want to make a "Click Here". Use the second set of jibberish. Replace the "http://www.microsoft.com/" with you own http address and replace the phrase "This text" with "Click Here" or whatever else you want to say. You will also want to delete the phrase "is a link to a page on the World Wide Web."

It really is not that difficult once you do it.

Eva,

for some interesting information on the word "Allah"

I think that God wants us to understand what the word "Allah" really means because we are going to be witnessing to more and more muslims as the time of Christ return draws near. We can not bring them the whole truth when we are deceived about what they believe.
