22 weeks! Hooray-a-toby-blanza!

Today, Toby should weigh about 13 ounces... he should be about 7.5
inches from crown to rump. (because his legs are all folded up) Kai, at
this stage, weighed 4 pounds. (a little joke)

The books have stopped making comparisons, so I had to go find
something 7.5 inches. Hamburger Helper, folks.

Your baby is now the height of a box of Hamburger Helper (or Panburger
Partner, for the frugal). He is approximately the weight of the
contents of a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup (or For Best
Value). He kicks about as hard as a medium sized bullfrog in your
abdominal cavity. Oh, and this is from the book: he has eyebrows. Now
you see why I have to ad-lib.

I have an ultrasound and a drs appointment today, but they're late
afternoon, so most of you will have already checked out for the day
when I update.

That was so funny. I'll remember you next time I need an alibi or excuse for something I have done.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

Oooo MY GOSH.......congratulationsss.....

Jiminy CRICKET!

Wonderfulllllll

Wonder if this means that Steph is too...and just doesn't know it yet.

I keep telling her that the longer they keep putting off the snip snip, the more likely my little Sophia is on her way.

Viking Granny!!!! said...

With old fashioned birth control methods and two lovebirds passing the buck to who actually gets to pick the DR and make the appointment.........

Jerusalem Jael
Sophia Joy

Soon to be on their way.

And wassup with the heating pad?

Hot tadpoles move slower?

Viking Granny!!!! said...

And Georgia......are you pulling our legs?

How old is your youngest?

This is fantastic!

WARNING: DANIEL- THIS IS A PG-13 COMMENT SECTION

Viking Granny!!!! said...

I have never heard of the heating pad method so this is all news to me. I have heard of the breast feeding theory and it has been proven to be false throughout history. My sister and I are all a year apart.........maybe the breast feeding method only works for 3 or 4 months or something like that.

The heating pad method is 100% however...

If you keep the heating pad where it belongs it is impossible to get pregnant.

Jess has succeeded in stirring up a rumor!
Jennifer yesterday told me to go home and take it easy, get some rest, she said.
Now, it is floating around CTK.
Wont be long before TS thinks Im pregnant too.

Raina said...

HOw is everyone this morning?

Georgia said...

I want yall to notice how Jess has mysteriously disappeared at this time.

Raina said...

Yep where did she go?

Georgia said...

If yall knew what happens to me when I get pregnant there would be no one happy for me at all.

Georgia said...

She's been spreading rumors about me and now she is incognito.

Raina said...

jess said...

For the record;

I am NOT pregnant.

Not that it will do any good to make this pronouncement.

Tomorrow no one will remember I said that and I will be getting middle-age prenatal advice.
What vitamins to take, how not to fall asleep in the bathtub, strengthening exercises beforehand so I dont croak over on in labor...

jess said...

Georgia: don't reach for anything higher than your head

jess said...

Well, congratulation to Nate and Leah on their newest addition to the family!! Glad everything went great for Leah!

I've just been slamming busy today, and will be all week probably. 18,000 people came back to work from strike on Friday, so yeah that equals busy for the HR dept.

Matt be tellin' the truth, we need to brothers in here more. I was just thinking this on Friday.

I haven't read up on the new nominee for the Supreme Court yet, so nothing to say on that.

PG-13 DANIEL:
THE HEAT PAD. That may be a good idea for Rob since they may not be wanting another kido, but if Julie and Tim are (or anyone else), I believe that can cause some permanent damage.

Josh said...

We have our appiontment with our mid-wife at 6:00 PM to hear the heart beat of the life that is within Shannon. Very exciting!

Viking Granny!!!! said...

It really does seem like everyone is pregnant......

Raina said...

Hannah was 9 lbs 11 oz. how weird

Leah & Nate- I'm so happy that everything went well & you have a little son! That is a very sweet picture of you & Kai.

*Blessings & smiles*

Georgia said...

Richy took that picture. He has such a good eye. He takes really beautiful pictures.

Georgia said...

Kai was born right at 40 weeks, but we thought he might never come.

Shannon2-24 said...

Yes, Georgia,
Richy does take good pics.
He & Jessica took quite a few black & white ones at my wedding... VERY NICE ONES! They put the best ones in a nice white photo album and gave us all the rest in another album. I really enjoy them still.

We even have a close-up of the spaghetti at our rehearsal dinner!
: )

Hi Rob! Long time no talk. : D
Congrats on your addition of 2 little boys. Say hi to Steph for me.

And Rob did an excellent job with the sound system at our wedding... it sounded great, and played the songs at the right time. Thanks!

Shannon2-24 said...

That was fun listening to the radio station Rob had..
it was a blessing to us & many while God had it last.
