I AM FRIST. (Yes, I know this is the wrong one, but hey).
for gals only - once, when Linds was about 6 months old, she bit me and i automatically and quickly slapped her little face (not too hard, but just enough to get her to let go) and then she cried so hard and wouldn't nurse for over TWELVE hours!!! I finally tricked her into eating again when she was asleep! Poor little baby...
josh, do some research about echinacia...... i've read recently that there is no research proving that it helps AT ALL in preventing or thwarting or healing colds...
If you find something contradictory, let me know...

i made a good ole blackeyed pea/avocado/tomato/catalina dressing salad that is served over fritos today for lunch..... yuummm
i make it about wonct a year......
roast/potatoes/carrots/gravy for dinnah tonight.....
and, of course, a salad...... i'm funny lately, i'm serving the salad to my family FRIST so that they (and I) will eat all our salad BEFORE I put the other foods on the table...... if I do it the other way, we usually get too full of yummy heavy foods and put off the salad.....
those fresh veggies have vegevitaminaphens like Sharon always mentions we need......

I want that recipe too, for the blackeyed pea salad.
recipe for Black-eyed Pea/Frito Salad
1 can blackeyed peas
1 can blackeyed peas with jalapenos
drain both cans, rinse gently
add one large avacado, cut into bite-sized pieces
add two tomatoes, cut into bite- sized pieces
stir in gently approximately 1 1/2 cups CATALINA dressing...
refrigerate for several hours til cold.
immediately before serving, stir in fritos corn ships, approximately 4 cups...... but what I do is pour the pea salad over the chips as I'm serving, so that if there are leftovers of the salad, I can use it again the next day with fresh fritos...
Serves 6-8
*NOTE* This recipe has NOT been approved by Betty Housekeeping nor Good Crocker Magazines nor has it been tested in any test kitchens....nor tested on animals...
Put the ingredients in as you desire.....til it looks good to you. Some people like more avacado...

His next appt is on the 1st... he's doing great...
He ate SO much today, probably ready for a growth spurt
He was 5.4 on Jan 12th... he's gotta be 6 pounds by now
when i hired on here, they told me i'd work 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., 3 days a week...... but, then before i came on board, that manager quit, so i'm having to work with a lady who is new at managing so for a while, i'll just go in at 5:30 as she is asking me to.....
i'm just not used to getting up at 4:30!!! nor going to bed before 10:30!!! but, i need to get those zzz's...... hard when everyone is out, and i'm expecting them to come in...listening for doors...
mama's never quit.....
although i'm better at sleeping through since i'm learning to trust God with them...

I honor of pie day, I am making a virtual lemon meringue pie and throwing it at Jessica. It splatters all over her face . . . and a little splats on Toby’s face. Toby licks his lips and learns he likes lemon meringue pie.

I won't be awake to defend my post, so fate will have it's way (or beebow will have her way).
