Cute, cute!
I think this pic I have is great. It's a picture of the poster Shannon bought me last week. I really like penguins, and it's neat since we're about to be ONE COOL FAMILY! She saw it at the store and had to get it for me. I laughed for a long time when she gave it to me.
Had some pumpkin pi and cookies & cream ice cream last night. . . mmmmm!

how was the wedding???
very interestingly boring...
but, tried to make the best of it...
papa jc's boss.....
he felt he should be there to support them...
it was a very windy day...and we didn't go out into the bay, but stayed in the 4 foot waters of Clear Lake......
i tried to enjoy myself..... the food was great..... and of course i got to ride down and back with my man...
i'm proud of you for your good attitude; i'm guessing it was sort of miserable. 8)

btw, today is the day 25 years ago that i decided to break up with papa jc because he was taking too long to make a decision in regard to "US"....
the weather was similar to today's..... not as windy....
it was a Saturday.....
i planned to break up with him, and go back to college....and to get an apartment.....and basically go on with my life WITHOUT him...
you remember the date??

but, we had already planned to go to some friends' home and have pizza this night....
i remember the date because AFTER we had a great night with our friends eating pizza and Dr. Pepper, he brought me home in his long bomb-of-a-car and pulled into my parents' garage with the tail end hanging out in the rainstorm.... and then, at around 12:30 a.m. (on March 15) he looked over at me across the huge bench seat of his car... with a nervous smile....
he being 29 years of age, and myself twenty one...

oh jess, i found hannah...(she had been at work...)
i wondered where she was because i saw jen bare-field's car in my driveway....and thought possibly that during their piano lesson that 1) they decided to go for a bike ride, 2) they decided to go for a walk, or 3) the rapture occurred......
i just assumed since her car was here, that hannah was with her....
now i know differently and WHY jen's car is here.....
i need a nap...

it was an ugly green car...
but it had a great 8 track tape player and a new fangled cassette player....and great air conditioning...

1) He says "I know you're the one for me, I just need more time".

3) He pulls out a ring and proposes.
4) He pulls out a gun and threatens you if you leave him.
5) He passes gas, and then you knew it was love because he felt comfortable around you.
Which one could it be?????????

he looked at me across that large expanse of space...... with twinkles in his eyes.....
and said...
"if I had a ring.... I'd ask you to marry me..."
i quickly replied (in order for him not to lose his train of thought)
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A RING...."
(of course i had a large grin on my face....)
we interrupt this program to bring you the following message...
******** Hannah (in my car) just backed into Jen B's car (which was parked in a strange place in our driveway) and caved in MY BUMPER and Jen's drivers'-side door!
OH GREAT!!! and right before she left the back door, i says to her "don't park too close to other cars and be careful not to get where others can back into you down at the Hernandez's" - since i knew there would possibly be a group down there for a party...
oh great..... and Linds' wreck last week is costing her $500 deductible....... so, now hannah will have to pay $500 deductible again....
LORD help us all!!! (hannah was planning on buying a keyboard....)

For those who don't know my lovly wife is apart of mission trip to Mexico. John Terry is a leader of the team, but she is heading the ministry to the kids.
Here is an update on the Mexico trip. Meredith said things are going good. She said they need prayer in the area of the food, Meredith, Heather and Peggy have upset tommies, she thinks the just used to real Mexcian food.
She asking for paryer for ideas on what to do with the kids. She has some things such as games and krafts to do with the kids, but she is seeing for different resons that some of the games and krafts will not work. She said the kids liked the puputs
She asking for supernatul Spanish as well. Also John Terry was going to work with some of the men to do a building project, but the supplies are there to do the work. So she asked if you would pray that the suplies would come in.
John Terry is preaching tonight so pray for him.
I hope I didn't leave anything out
Meredith just called to ask that everyone would pray that the anoting would be on whatever they do.
That the mothers who droped there kids off at this orphanage they are working in would get a powerful touch from God.
Three that they would not get sun burned. The thing is on one brought sun block.

kat - we actually DID NOT listen to music while we were "dating" (if that is what you could call it)....
our smiles and heartbeats were a symphonic duet......
He did actually then ask me to marry him that night at 12:30-ish p.m. (which is March 15) and then kissed me once. Of course I said 'YES'....
and then the rest of the story is too long to tell....... but wonderful and long and short and terrible...... but very very very much the best thing we couldda ever gotten ourselves into......
i'm ready for car problems to stop......
