Have we got enough woodlands bloggers to take it out of Conroe?

I see the name Harvy in her list up there. Maybe it's a "later years" sight issue.

What I don't see is Josharoo! Everyone else got their blogger names, me just Josh. = (

Wait, maybe that means I'm a closer friend than anyone else, kinda like being on a first name basis. Yeah, that's it... Jessica like me better than all the rest of you. . . na na na na boo boo.

Julie Caleb and Jade are here for a visit. God is so good.

I will have to re-read it later when there aren't so many loud cars being driven through-out the house.

Julie is going through old boxes cause I told her she can have whatever she likes.

Garage sale stuff and makeup....so you aren't missing much Jess.

How do you set up a new blogger?

Josh said...

I have a confession to make. I really didn’t fly to TX or buy a paintball gun. I know you all believed my store because I’m such a good writer, and I’m so trustworthy, but it didn’t happen. I didn’t go to Pamera Bread in The Woodlands or eat at Cheesecake Factory, and I didn’t go to anyone’s house.

Clamy- I’m sorry you called your uncle Soren and had him race to SeaTac airport, I really wasn’t there.

I’m here at work, safe and sound.

Josh said...

Georgia can have all the tacos she wants, free of fear of paintballs smacking her in the head.

Work to do, be back later.

are blog-guests welcome to the party?

Josh said...

Hiya All,

Servant- On your question about tithing your time, I don’t believe God requires you to do that. It defiantly isn’t mentioned in the Bible, so to say that it is something we must do or need to do would be adding to God’s commands. I think going each day, being lead by the Spirit on what / who / where you should be involved in ministry is what He wants. It’s our hearts and willingness to serve and obey, and to obey when prompted by the Spirit, that he wants, not a form of a certain number of hours of minutes. I do believe He wants daily communion with us, and I do have a set time that I do that each day, but I also have times where I read / pray more as I feel the Spirit’s desires. God understands some people have less time than others, but I do believe He wants daily devotion where He can speak to us. We all have seasons when we can give and do more, God knows that, and direct that too. Only He truly knows if one is being obedient to the time He wants them to give.
You just be lead by the Spirit and don’t worry if your “giving enough”. Don’t ever beat yourself up if others can do more than you because of your schedule etc. (I’m not implying that you might be doing this, just saying as a caution.) Be at peace if you know you’re doing what He requires of you for the season your in.

Anyone else's thoughts?

Josh said...

Also, it’s OK to set an amount of time you want to pray / read each day. And, God may speak to you to do a certain thing a certain amount of time, but in that case you’re being lead of the Spirit, you aren’t coming up in your own mind to always give a rigid amount of time.

Josh said...

And I agree 100% with you, Daniel.

jess said...

Betcha- Yep
