Congratulation to jess & servant for the semi-colon puns, and to Sharon for the “quake me up”. It’s good to see that puns are catching on, I think I have a tear in my eye.
i think buzzards would only be creepy if you were wounded and lost in the woods; other wise, i'm glad to see 'em ; i know i don't want to clean it up....
I have not heard about a tornado.... this morning it was raining really hard and I woke up because a cold little hand touched me. It was R2 and he was completely drenched. Daddy had to have a talk about we don't go outside when it's raining...
YOU GOT IT. “The Kid” with Bruce Willis. Probably the only Bruce Willis movie my kids will ever see.
Servant- If you haven’t seen it, rent it. It’s very funny, and a little inspirational. We actually own it as one of the only 5 non-cartoon movies we own, so that says something.
i guess you feel better sivad..... i'm glad... you've really been flapping these keys today......
better watch out for yo fingers for guitar days.....
did linds ever get ahold of you or email you???

Fact of the Day One of the fattiest fishes is salmon: 4 ounces of the delectable fish contains 9 grams of fat.
Quote of the Day "When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves." - William Arthur Ward
Today in History
1074 - Pope Gregory VII declared all married Roman Catholic priests to be excommunicated.
1822 - New York City's Charles M. Graham, patented artificial teeth.
1858 - Albert Potts, of Philadelphia opened his mailbox to find he had been awarded a patent for the mailbox.
1864 - Gen. Ulysses S. Grant was appointed commander-in-chief of the Union armies during the American Civil War.
1959 - The popular Barbie doll debuted in stores. To date more than 800 million dolls have been sold.
1985 - "Gone With The Wind", the most requested movie in history, went on sale at video stores across the United States for the first time. The tape cost $89.95. The film, starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, cost $4.5 million to make, but has earned over $400 million, making it one of the biggest money-makering films in history.
1996 - George Burns died peacefully at his Beverly Hills home at the age of 100.
Dr. Quack Quack is a female GP who does not care about her patience...
she pretends to care only to push the latest "kick back" drug or program at you.
She has her own adgenda and it is obvios even if you are blind folded and handcuffed.
She is a joke. I have only stayed a patient of hers because she has been so easy for all the refills and I don't have to waste time seeing her and jumping through hoops.
VKG- You and clammy really thinking of shotting up here to WA? That would be cool. Since I work from home, I can take a little time off any time of the day you'd arrive. You have my cell #, just call if you decide to head up.
AND, Shannon's big belly is quite an atraction, but not the only one. . what about my fat head!? (kidding)
For very apparent reasons I will not say her name on this blog......
If you want to know so that you never go to her unless you are a dope head, then call me.
Yes I said Dope Head.
If you go to the dr for a soar throat and they give you a prescription for "x" and then months later, you go for a broken foot, and get a prescription for the same "x"......and then 2 years later you have a headache and she gives you more "x"
Thats the idea.
Then if she listens to the newest salesman, and he has a new drug for something entirely different, she will try to get you to see how even though this is not your problem you can take this new drug for that other problem and somehow it will help you with what you actually came to see her for.
Now she is on a new program and the same thing is happening and I am tired of a dr who plays dr.....so I am going to a real one.
My head hurts and I meant to just say goodnight but Katwoman sucked me into this blog and I had to talk my head off....

Roots and tatoes!!! Blah. . yuck. . plah! Shannon can make a good pot of chili with beans. It’s a family recipe. It take two straight driving days to get here. If you’re stopping in Utah, I don’t see how you could be here by Saturday morning. Or do you just mean you’ll be HEADING our way?
Do you forget all the times that I drove you and Richy and Bobby and Chucky to youth or Living Branch or "the Rock" and I got you there in plenty of time.
Have you forgotten how I drive?
"Confidant Driver" is what Sandy calls it. We made it threw three states last weekend...I do not see the problem.
I was even thinking of Hot air balloons and snow skiing....
Got your e-mail and replied, signing off for a while. Going to go fry some chicken while the pumpkin pie Shannon just put in the oven bakes. Pumpkin pie. . .my favorite!
UGGGGG, just realized we don’t have Cool Whip. UGGGGG! It will still be good and the Cool Whip section will be plundered at the store tomorrow.
I remember those drives. . and I thank God for my guardian angels. We must have had 80,000 of em’, maybe more. = )
WHAT! Do I have a cow! If I did, what would I do, put my pie under it and squirt squirt? No, we finished the last of the vanilla ice cream we had last night. Gotta coordinate our deserts better.
Party on, party on. Away I go to the chicken frying land.
papa jc and i will be attending a WEDDING on Sunday in Galveston! and won't be at church... Linden Bridge will be leading worship with a team.....
i don't WANT to go to a cruise-ship wedding, truly!!! it's his boss and who knows who will be there.....and i'm insecure in these new types of situations........and don't know what i should wear, etc.....and since i've been feeling poorly haven't had time to prepare! oh my..... i haven't a thing to wear!!!
pray for wisdom and something that fits and works....... for a CRUISE WEDDING AND RECEPTION??? never heard of such.......but i must try to keep a good attitude about it.....something new..... something daring..... but.....what to wear..... i only look good in black!!! :-(
no, I won't be wearing a swim suit! (papa jc told me that's what he thought all the women would be wearing!!! ha!)
Hmm, no persons for so long, that made me LSAT! Yep, some people are just naturals.
We like fried chicken, but it smells up the whole house. I usually remember to close the bedroom door before starting so that we don't have it in there, but forgot tonight. I lit some candles about an hour ago in the room to get rid of it, now it's time for bed and it smells like lovely pomegranates.
So, any old wives tales or suggestions? Is there a way for fried chicken to not take over the airways of your home?
Old wives tale number 2003. Put all old bones in trash outside not in house.
#2004. do not fry the chicken in your home. Pick it up at Churches or KFC
#2005 Shut your bedroom door
#2006 Go to Mexico, buy some REAL vanilla in a quart size jar for only $1.50, take 2 TBS of Vanilla and add 1 cup water in a sauce pan. bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer, do all this BEFORE the chicken enters the house....when the chicken arives, add one more cup of H20 and continue to simmer.
When you forget to buy Cool whip, you simply milk your cow, place the FRESH milk in a gallon size jar in the fridge. 6-12 hours later, use a ladle and skim off the top....that is where the heavy cream is..(wonda why it floats if its so heavy)
Place the cream in a tight container with a lid and shack shack shack.
When your arms are tired, hand it over to Shannon and get her to Shake Shake Shake. Never Shack...only Shake...
If you continue to do this you end up with BUTTER, and watered down milk that people use for gravy and cooking ect.
Viking Granny said... Add a little salt to your butter and shape into any shape that you like and put it in the fridge.
If you decide that you do not want butter for the top of your pumpkin pie, then you can take the heavy floating cream and put it in a bowl and beat it with an electric mixer.. when it starts to look like synthitic cool whip (that is actually made with the same things they make PLASTIC with) add a teaspoon or 10 of sugar, and a tsp a vanilla, from the stove top if your house still stinks.
Continue to beat till you like what you see and EAT
I am off to the doctor so I will check in later this afternoon,
If we leave early enough, then we can make the 2p baby shower for little Joshy. We can skip Utah till next time or incase we have time on the way home.
Wanna pitch in and get Josh and Shannon something really nice?
Maybe we could buy the kid his own TV for his bedroom, or his own car for when he reaches 15 and a half.

hehe
I have not heard about a tornado....
this morning it was raining really hard and I woke up because a cold little hand touched me. It was R2 and he was completely drenched.
Daddy had to have a talk about we don't go outside when it's raining...
when it's raining is the very BEST time to go outside!
unless there's lightning nearby...then it's bad
i'm with r2, though; playing in the rain is GREAT!

somebody go rescue terri... she's stuck out in cyberspace
sivad, well, i'm glad you're not emotionally damaged by the possum pic

just kidding..
i think that photo was especially sweet

heehee!
While Terri was stuck in cyberspace, she corrected me. I gave credit to Sharon for the “quack me up”, but it was her.
(Josh rips trophy from Sharon’s arms and gives to Terri)
well, as one who is close to the prophetic department head, I can tell you that song would not make it to the stage twice...
yeah yeah
I was a crazy nutty little kid. And you loved it. ADMIT IT
Maybe he's just playing dead, Sharon...
I just had particularly delicate teachers, Servant.
and genius is such a burden for the very young
Dennis the Menace took lessons from Jessica.
Servant- we knew because only a genius would relate defecating in public and feeding your child in public. Such a stoke of genius. = )
Just giving you a hard time, all in jist.
what terri's trying to say is you're a THUG, josh
Every good hip hopster can make folks think they gonna jack they wallet at any moment.
I have now risen to the next level of stardom.

Name that movie?
(I doing some training, so I'm in and out.)
No guesses on my quote?
If Jess were here, she’d get my quote.
I have no idea on any of the quotes, we literally watch 1 or 2 new movies a year, maybe not even 1 in some years.
VERY familar- Jroo but I can't remember

Hint:
Another from the same movie: “Say ya’ll. . . a lot. . . it will be your signature.” (or something close to that)
If Jess still can’t get it, I’ll give her a hint that’s for sure. (no internet help now)

Good Night..
Finally get to go to the DR tomorrow. New DR......very happy.
Dr. Quack Quack wouldn't help me over the phone so I have quit her totally....
I have to get well, or I will be cancelling all my travel plans for this weekend....and that would really disappoint HAPPY...
Don't want to make "Happy" Saddy.
Ya'll have a great evening...it is bedtime already....
:0)
Maybe quick drive up to Utah......
My mother lives there..might also take a couple days off and head on up to Washington and check out Shannons big belly.
Haven't really decided yet...... kinda letting Happy call the shots.
It's a new concept of mine.
"Go with the flow"
let go of the control
be flexible....etc....it is a great spiritual excersize for me.
Maybe we will be able to go up in one of the hot air balloons. You can actually see them at the bottom of the mountain tops from my mothers house.
Not sure if they go up in the winter but we will be sure and check it out.
good night kat
