Yesterday Toby and I went to the doctor to try to deal with a little
leftover thrush and his cough. When I read the name of the doctor, I
knew he was Chinese. (DISCLAIMER: I think it is amazing and great that
people are bilingual. Even one who speaks a second language badly
speaks more languages than me.)
My first great joy was filling out all Toby's paperwork. It had some
great questions, like:
" How many times you are pregnant"
" How long are you in labor"
And a little greeting like "Dear Parents with appreciation for filling
this out."
I was smiling all the way through. My dad and I loved this kind of
stuff. Once he bought an airplane toy with all the bonuses barely
translated on the box. Let me see if I can remember.... "She are flying
with great speed!" and so forth.
Then we actually went in... I wish you could have all been there. "Miss
Crark?" they called.
"Oh, he are preemie baby."
and some really great almost indecipherable questions ... how much
coughing, how much snot.... I can't even remember how it was phrased,
but I was grinning the whole time.
He was a sweet little old guy... I liked him a lot. So we got our
prescriptions and made an appointment for 2 months if everything are
okay.
NOTE: some updates on the countdown tickers page.

frist again? wow...i'm on a roll!
My freshman year in high school we had a korean foreign exchange student in ROTC and Choir. He came up with some memorable phrases like "can you thinking?" and...well...actually I don't remember any more. But he was alot of fun...I sure do miss the guy
heehee
the area manager for denny's is samoan (accent sounds kind of korean)
she talks really fast and tells you a bunch of stuff (that you're not sure whether you understood) and then she says
"you see i say?"
and we just nod and say yes ms hue(pronounced huey , like the duck)
because if we say no, she'll just start over--but do it louder and faster 8)
hehe
That's funny, happy.
I just read an e-mail from an oriental guy. One of the sentences is, “How can I found out if the package has been send to me?”
Very funny.
Sounds like a good doctor Jess has, he’s not afraid to use words like “snot”. Who wants to say mucus? Not me! My mucus is this or that color. . . naa, it’s called SNOT. Say it loud, say in proud!

Probably male China Berry Tree birds.
well, everyone was talking about oriental accents and terminology......then those silly birds flew in..... they really looked funny, with their headdresses flopping in the wind......

Married an American businessman in the 70's... and traveled with him all over the world for "R and R"... she kept talking about "R and R" in her little accent. He's gone now.... so her nephew takes care of her... Ju Jung was her frist name...... pray for her... so sweet..... kept saying "i twust you... i twust you..."

FRIST on Friday. Yeah, I know the blog has been down since lsat night, but I'm still FRIST!
Happy St. Patrick's Day. I got to pinch Shannnon his morning.
I sent this e-mail to Jessica about a hour ago:
So, it's Friday and I got no blog to be funny on.
This is almost like it being my birthday and having no cake, like eating Mexican food and having no salsa, like having a runny nose and having no tissue.
Yep.
Hmmm, maybe I'm the only one that can get on by now.
we're upstairs, Petey
