KATIE - sorry i didn't say so before exiting... (oh, i got bumped off the internet, went over to my parents, watched my mom making a peanut butter pie... and went next door to help a little lady carry her FORTY POUND cat litter bag from her car to her back porch...and you know in the country, that's a far walk hauling 40 pounds!...
we get to eat peanutbutter pie tonight!!! yippee!!!

john's family started enjoying pb pie in hobbs, new mexico in the '60's......... we make it like a cream pie, but put a couple of Tablespoons in at the end...with the vanilla....... can be served with or sans meringoo...
Tablespoons of PEANUT BUTTER (that it... chunky or smooth)...... ha ha! i'd hate to eat a pie with a couple of Tablespoons in it......

just had that wonderful peanut butter pie! and my mom had the nerve to serve it with ice cream!!! yummy but almost too rich.....
i am truly blessed to live so close to my parents and grandmother...
side note - hot rod... hannah and jc did decide to put that newish engine in her used car.....after talking to your mechanic guy.....and praying about it.....so he's ordering it and it should be in tomorrow..... how long does it normally take to put in a new engine/motor/whatever-it-is....??? i think the one they are getting has only 35K miles.
the problem with giving something to drive for Lindsey has been resolved. the neighbor lady is going in for surgery Friday, so her car will be available for use for the week. so, that is good...
