I'll be back. Like the Terminator. Only not with a creepy red eye or
guns or anything. Or ANYTHING.
But, like the Terminator, I will be back.

I get to go grocery shopping at Wal-Mart today, so I don't know when I will be checking back in. Pray for me. I do not like grocery shopping on Thursdays because that is fasting day. I will also have all three of my kids with me asking for everything in the store. They usually don't ask for candy, because they know that they won't get it. They ask for chips, yogurt, pop tarts, fruit snacks, muffin mixes, extra cereals, crafts, material for sewing, toys, etc. I have a harder time telling my kids no when they are asking for snacks, especially if it is a healthy snack (not pop tarts). But even the snacks can make the grocery bill grow really fast. Anyways, enough of my blabbing. I hope to see ALL of you at church tonight.

Busy day today.

My back is 80% better and improving still. An angelic massage I may have gotten while sleeping, along with the therapy yesterday, the exercises, and icing it before bed last night has really helped. Hopefully I’ll be all better by tomorrow. I’ll keep doing the exercises, and have to take it easy on lifting for a week of so.

about gray hair---

whenever i see a woman who has allowed her gray hair, i always see how beautiful she is.

doesn't the Bible call gray hair a "crow of wisdom" or something like that?

Beth said...

crown

not crow

Josh said...

Now, that’s a hot topic, Christians covering up gray hair. I’ve heard some folks get fueled on both sides of it.

Beth said...

i'm not fueled; just disappointed sometimes. 8)

people are always spending money in our society to be someone they wish they were instead of celebrating who they actually are!

age is beautiful if you spend your years well

Beth said...

that was of course not to say that katwoman is trying to be someone she's not--just that she's beautiful the way she is

jess said...

I always like dyeing my hair .... it's fun to change colors and such...
i don't see where it's really different from makeup

Beth said...

yeah, that's true; i like to experiment---i'm just talking about women who are always desperately covering up their gray like it's a sign of shame or something.
it hurts my feelings. 8)

Beth said...

you'll notice my hair's not au naturale or anything

but i don't intend to ever dye for the sake of covering gray and looking ten years younger-i'm just not for it.

when 40's ish or whatever age women let their gray come out, they're always so beautiful! and often very distinguished looking--it just shouldn't be shameful to age

jess said...

If mine goes silver like my mom's, I'll keep it... but if it's dull I'll probably dye it....

jess said...

I'm here!

yep... with bells on

Oh I see, so the TP you're referring to is

Toxic protectors

I just knew it wasn't tooth paste!

I really really miss CTK’s special services like Passover. I think of the Christmas Eve service every year at that time, they were always great! We’re planning to be down there for Christmas, so hopefully we’ll be there. You all should have an awesome time tonight!

Praying for you mind to be more sponge to soak up the info you need!

I’m outta here.

I’ll be back, like shower mildew. Only with no smells or anything pink. Or ANYTHING.
But like shower mildew, I will be back.

Harvey,

I just finished putting my groceries away. One of mine threw a huge fit because she did not want to sit in the seatbelt (Guess who??) and another got a 30 minute time out when we got home because she would run around and hurt the other kids. But, yes, I am in one piece.

I told Gabriela that now that she is 7 it is time for her to learn how to conduct herself in the grocery store. She asked if she could wait until she is 12 to learn how to behave in the store. I laughed and said "NO, if you wait until then, it is too late. If you don't learn now, you won't learn then."

Jess- on the blog links on your home page, you need to place a paragraph break after the MCF Blog so the other text enters down with a line in between. It's ">p<" with the symbols reversed.

Shannon’s labor has started!!!!!!!!! = )

It’s actually been going on all day, but we didn’t want to call shots too early. Contractions started at 7:00 AM and have been consistent all day. Currently 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute to 1.5 minutes, but still mild in strength (she can talk through them and isn’t showing pain on her face). Her mom is here now, and we’ve been in contact with her midwife.

We could have a baby by morning!! Or maybe tomorrow. We’re very excited!!
Please pray for all of us. If you didn’t know Shannon is going all natural, no medicine, and delivering at home. At dinner I thanked the Lord for His peace that is with us, and could really feel His presence of peace!

I’ll give an occasional updates on the blog. We don’t want to get phone calls, please. At some point we’ll be turning all the rings off anyway.

Blessings of peace on all your homes also!

Beth said...

yaaaay baby!!!!

i know his peace is with you guys.

so excited and happy for you.

i'll try to keep my hands off the speed dial. 8)

please tell shannon we're praying for her.

jess said...

YAY! KEEP US POSTED, JOSH!

Josh said...

UPDATE

Her water broke 35 minutes ago. Contractions are getting a bit harder. Our midwife is sending an assistant to check Shannon and baby. He’s active, so all is well!

I have made lots of new friends and I love all the blog fam.

I have traveled and experienced snow and desert heat and laughed at happy,

I have cried and prayed and seen God move.....on the BLOG!

We have all learned alot about eachother because of Jessicas blog, that started out to simply keep a sweet little bed ridden mommy down and entertained.

Now, we all know eachother and care about each other deeper than we did before.

Look what our DADDY God has done.
