Sorry about yesterday... I posted that blog in the morning but it
appears to have not gone up until much later...
Last night's prayer meeting was good. I have a difficult time
"tapping in" to whatever's going on a lot of the time in prayer, but
I was able to pray last night.... something in my heart and my spirit
is turning on again... I want to see people saved. I want to pray for
people.
Here's the thing with me... I am SO not wanting to go back into
ministry mode.
Where I just run on my own steam, and maybe build something
"successful" but have no heart for God... I've done it before and I
have a healthy fear of doing it again. Because I reproduce myself...
and I end up with disciples of Jessica instead of disciples of Jesus.
Pray with me, pray for me.
I need to love God. I need to love His word. I need to change.
Today we're going to look around for other alternatives to MoCo for
the outreach... that door appears to be closed. So pray, also for
divine direction for us.
I miss my bloggerati. See you late tomorrow night...

Busy yesterday and today with getting back to work after my 6 days off. I missed getting to hold Keith more yesterday, and seeing Shannon more also. Keith has been doing much better since Saturday and eating very good. We have an appt with his pediatrician at noon and we’re looking forward to having him weighted. I’ll update after the appt.
We also got his footprints done on some nice paper last week. Shannon’s sister does calligraphy real good, so we’re planning to have her write something around the footprints.

Ahh old movies are wonderful! Just watched "tammy tell me true" with Sandra Dee and now "take her she's mine" is on with Jimmy Stewart and Sandra Dee...these are GREAT MOVIES!!
I absolutely loved "The Shop Around The Corner" and "My Man Godfrey" "Charade" was awesome...I can't pick just one!
hmm...anything with Carey Grant or Jimmy Stewart is fine with me! I may be a typical guy but Mr. Roberts is one of my all time favorites...Big Red One, Jet Pilot was good, ooo..anything with THe Duke is fine too. Paint Your Wagon.
I just realized I've been saying Golly and jeez or something similar alot. I think it may be from all these old movies I've been watching. I recently discovered the joys of AMC and TCM...oh golly..I'm not too worried. Its a neat little thing, girls might like it ;)

the Bible is blaring in my face - as Hannah is playing audio Bible very loudly on the pc speakers... we're in Genesis right now.
Last month, I envisioned that we played the WORD OF GOD 24 hours a day in our home... maybe this is a way we can do this... I felt strongly that we needed to play it our loud in our home, cars, etc... and mentioned it to the family, but didn't know how to organize it... Hannah is getting us started.

AMC is nice, but I definatly like Turner Classic Movies(TCM) better. No commercials, better old movies...just grand.

Turner Classic it is... whatevah... i don't watch enough t.v. to know the difference...
beth c - i mentioned to the powers that be today about me hiring on to work 6:30 - 7 p.m. 3 days per week....and that after i was there a few weeks they changed me...to the earlier hours...
i told them I'd much rather work 6:30 or 7 a.m. as an arrival time. They are trying to figure out a way to make the dept work while helping me to get the hours I want too... it still may take a while. The 5:30 hour is the most needy time in our dept, and they must be full-staved... (full staffed :-)
haha...tomorrow is wednesday...I shall tell him
he's one of those guys that if i tell him something i want for christmas, he'll secretly jot it down in his wallet... (some years)... so taht he can rebember it....
and he'll get me everything i ever ask for - which isn't much
well, i asked for a motorcycle and a horse once, but he hasn't produced them yet! also asked for a motor home... nope, not that either... but, those are impossibiliites...and I KNOW he won't buy them for me... i just tell him the desires of my heart for the future when we're retired and have a little extree moolah...
but the little things... i try not to tell him too much... i really don't ask for much.... :-)
beth - i actually put my application in for a school nurse position in Conroe last night...
don't know why - just felt impressed to. if these hours don't get changed within the next 4 months... I will probably strongly consider the school RN role... unless the pay is way less. hospital nurses get the most pay for the hours... but... think of the benefits of being a school nurse...
off on Christmas and spring break and summer break!!!!

no pushing of stretchers or rolling of patients...
no diapers...
no very very sick sick sick people...
hours would be NORMAL...
so... although i like my job now... i MAY consider the school job... if all the factors line up...
oh, and if i have more time off... i'd be able to go on mission trips and do tours with the TRIBE... etc...

yes, normally i would be working at denny's tonight. i was just so exhausted, and i asked the Lord if i could stay home tonight. He said ok. 8) i have a pretty important phone call to make tonight too.

i'm having kind of a big dream too--i think i'm going to apply for a promotion at work. i know it would be God if i get it because it's a really BIG promotion. i would be skipping some serious steps.
i think servant's head is better. when i called him he was studying, and now he's gone at school, so i think he's better...have to pray that he stops getting these crazy headaches though....it's just the enemy to discourage him

well, i look forward, sivad, to watching some of those old movies... i really have missed out... somehow my family never watched old movies when i was growing up... then, all these married years, we haven't been willing to pay for the extra cable fees... nor, do we rent much in the way of videos... it's like walking into a PORN shop to even GET a decent video... when i was a young mom, we'd try to go rent a movie for the kids...and were horrified at all the pictures and displays, even in the 80's!
Well, papa jc wouldn't let me go to sleep at 7 (when my head was nodding off) and now - I'M STILL UP and girls are talking like magpies and john's eating canteloop... and j's shopping WITH MY ATM CARD AT THE MALL!... so, needless to say, i don't know how i'll fall asleep now...
